They have an actual midfield too.Bullies have too much on the line imo to drop this one.

It was a hell of a ride…also last time the Cleveland Browns were any goodAh, the 80s... if only I could remember the details...
I know it is cool to say how bad our list is.
But really it is just our midfield that is poor.
Our bookends are pretty good. And overall our 22 is better than theirs.
Winning or losing comes down to our bookends overcoming the deficit in midfield and coaching.
Like our wins against Port the last couple of years.
Plus having to compensate for the nil impact of Murphy when the game is hot.

2018.When was the last time we played bulldogs away from their shithole? I can't remember the last time they played us at AO.
Club giving away free tickets like candy.

****ing disgraceful fixturing.2018.
We haven't played them in Melbourne since 2016.
Never liked him either. It is unfortunate the club embarked on path it has the last several yearsAmericanCrow , yeah mate, it IS sad.
Last time I was this uninterested was the Shaw days and Nicks is even worse than him (until Nicks, I never thought that could be possible).
I can't see my enthusiasm rekindled until Nicks is gone.
(Caveat: if Nicks can turn this around in 2025, I'll be very happy to be wrong, but I can't see it).
Never said heaps better. Marginally better. It's really just the most important positional group, where they have one of the best players in the league and we keep rolling out the Laird / Crouch duo who have stunk as a tandem every year since 2020, but this time will be better.
Yeah, we're heaps better.
Still more often than Pendlebury playing at Kardinia Park in a 400 game career. This will be the third time in the last decade we've played them at home
I liked him well enough in '20/'21 --- he had a lot to do to counter a disunited/miserable playing group, plus assistants not of his choosing. Looking back, the signs of his being a poor Coach emerged in '22 with that defensive, minimise-losses-damage "game plan" + the ways he favoured seniors over youth + weird selections + no understanding of Match Day nuances to affect games etc.Never liked him either. It is unfortunate the club embarked on path it has the last several years
Not massive, just wrong. That's a massive call
Crows by eleventy billionBulldogs x 24
Never said heaps better. Marginally better.
Similar to Port. Their midfield is better, but our overall team is better. Hence we have beaten them the last couple of years.
Anyway, after last week's performance, if we play to that level again I think we can win.
Untill Nicks ****s it up again.
