I'll be in adelaide for a short period in about 3 weeks time on business.

Just wanting to know, where can I locate the home of PAFC? I'd like to see it, a big part of Aussie Rules history.

Also, where can I locate the home of Porthos, I'd like to egg it on behlaf of the MFC.

Anything else I should check out while I'm there? I've been there before but only for a day, didn't get to see a whoel lot except for this really good thai restaurant in a shopping centre that had obnoxious decor but the food was very good. Kind of reminded me of the soup nazi episode from seinfeld.

Anyway, and good advice for good pubs, shops etc would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Do yourself a favour... as soon as you arrive at the shed they call Adelaide airport.... hand the taxidriver $20.. and ask him to show you all of Adelaide.... then when he is finished get the $4.50 change off him.. hop back on the plane.. and leave.

Well I'm a scorpio who enoys candlelit dinners and fist fights. Don't mind the odd tattoo as long as it's me putting it on someone else and enjoy pottery.

Seriously, I'm a young bloke, any decent clubs in adelaide? I'm also quite shallow and materialistic, is there any decent shopping precinct there?

I liek adelaide from what i've seen it's a nice laid back place.

And how would i get to Alberton from the Casino? (i'm staying accross the road)

TP last time i went there, i shyt you not, we sped through the main roads of adelaide CBD, on a thusday at lunch time, in a HSV and did a full lap of the CBD in under 10 minutes. Your analogy is spot on

that said, I liek the vibe of the place, there's something chilled out about it compared to melbourne or sydney.

I know my analogy is spot on... I've been there. 1 trip to Boringsville was 1 trip too many.

I've never been to Perth. How would you compare Perth to Adelaide? Or melbourne?

Perth is a fair bit bigger than Adelaide. Perth is like a smaller version of Melbourne with perfect weather and beautiful beaches. If I was to live anywhere in the world I chose Perth first and Melbourne a close 2nd.

I found Perth very similar to Adelaide actually. I like the quieter type of place though.
Both lovely towns.

Your a bit of an animal rick so you would be looking for the faster paced stuff than me.

As long as adelaide has plenty of loose women and about a kilo of crack cocaine I should be fine. I'm taking it easy when I go there, you know, "feel the vibe".

That's pretty much what I've heard. I've been contemplating a move there in fact. Possibly just a holiday at first. I've heard there's many beautiful ladies.

Possibly the only downside to Perth is it's so far from everywhere else.

But that can be a blessing as well.
Very nice place.
