It's infactual what you are claiming, troll.

'Infactual' isn't a word. And if it was, it couldn't possibly apply to calling somebody a faux-tough guy, which is an opinion and therefore can't be factually correct or incorrect.

Was Go The Guts trolling when he accused Port's players of being faux-tough guys?

As it stands you're about 10 posts in and you still haven't managed to answer a single direct question or point out a single thing I've said that was incorrect. I'll leave you to your ineffectual posting, nearly as ineffectual as Fogarty was last night.

I chose to let you talk shit to yourself. I haven't the inclination to respond, as we will simply not agree.

Not all doom gloom at the Crows.

Club obviously know where it is at.

Haven't tried to top up and have gone and got a stack of young kids.

So some pain coming up in the next 2 or 3 years but if they draft and recruit well they can come back up pretty quickly.

Plenty of salary cap room.

This year's draft will be the most important in Crows history. Had a very successful 2015-17 period but couldn't top it off with a premiership. At the risk of the future (it seemed rightly at the time) tried to top up for another crack, but for a myriad of reasons the cliff came quicker than anyone envisaged. And as of now I don't see any elite talent in their recent high draft picks, which is why it's imperative they get this year right with what will likely be a top 3 pick.

Of their current younger players:
-Milera has stagnated badly and doesn't look like he will be the player who could go into the midfield and drag his team across the line.
-Doedee was tracking beautifully until the unfortunate injury, hopefully he can get back to what he was showing before.
-Jones looks too small to me to be that A grade midfielder. A bit like Butters he may have some nice tricks to make him a useful part time mid but I'm not sure he can be a no.1 midfielder.
-McHenry looked ok last night, but he looks like a small forward again not a elite mid.
-Gallucci will be lucky to be on a list next year.
- far too early to tell on McCasey, got soundly beaten by Marshall last night but key position players always take some time, but the chances of a key position high draft pick being a bust seem much higher then if you take the best available mid.
-Fogarty is an interesting one. Looks the perfect 1980s early 90s player. Physical, good lead and deadly within 55m. But those types of players haven't been in AFL for 15 years so he will need to add some more strings to his now. I know crows talk up him going into the midfield but when he did that last night he looked completely out of his depth and was a liability. If he can't lose that bulk then I doubt he will become a mid and will be fascinating to see what type of career he has.

Every club experiences some time down the bottom (crows have done well for it to take 30 years for them to hit rock bottom) but you don't want the rebuild to go 10 years which is why I think this draft will be crucial for them.

What do crows supporters think of Roo’s comments regarding “supporting another club” (can’t remember the exact quote, and his “oh it’s not the right time or right look for the footy club” regarding Andrew McLeod’s feeling unwelcome comments?

Is this seen as a reflection of the attitude of the entire club or just one man imposing his opinion?

Simply not true, we most certainly do have some decent emerging talent, but we do very much need some more elite players.
Fogarty, Jones, Milera, Doedee, MaCasey, McHenry should all be potentially excellent players. Doedee already is.
O'Brien is only in his 2nd full season and was slightly better than Lycett last night.

Our older brigade have certainly dropped away and this is where we are suffering, along with losing guys like Jenkins, Greenwood and Ellis Yolmen.
Tex, Talia, Sloaney, Laird, M Crouch, Brown have all gone backwards.... Atkins, Gibbs, MacKay, Hartigan all need to go.
We're still waiting for Fogarty and Milera. Still waiting.

Really do feel like they are only going to get so far as a club while this idiotic, ignorant buffoon has any influence.

From someone living in Adelaide I get the feeling that the Crows have always treated their members as customers and because they have a wait list I think they have the attitude that it doesn’t matter if customers leave as others will take their spot. I think both Roo and Chapman have trotted out the “Support someone else” line.
As for McLeod being fobbed off by the club I think it’s pretty poor TBH. I’d say most clubs have past players that feel a little out of touch with their clubs but I’ve had some dealings with him at Norwood and the players and officials there worshipped him almost. I would tend to believe his version of events

Brisbane were rock bottom for many years and it was only after we sorted out the off field side that we started to consistently improve on field. This helped stop the player exodus and there was definitely an improvement with supporter engagement. I agree with the people who think that Adelaide need to start again.

If Fogarty spent less time running around trying to snipe smaller players and concentrated on getting a touch he actually may be a decent player.

He's a classic 1980's full forward born a few decades too late to be the quality AFL player he could've been. Excellent at the lead + mark + kick game, but has no other dimensions. Not fit for the modern game.

So in short, adelaide is backwards, it's decades behind the other vic clubs. They probably lack a lot when benchmark against clubs like Hawthorn on mental health, multiculturalism and inclusiveness.

My goodness have you been in a coma for 20 years and just woken up ?

You won't get any reasonable debate out of quite a few Crows supporters who have been in deflection/denial mode for... well forever. I read people in here saying "Nah it's only the die hards who still defend the club, basically everyone knows there is change needed now" but it's simply not true.

The Crows supporters who have been jumping up and down that there is something wrong at the club, change is needed etc. for a couple of years now, have been lambasted the entire time and from I can tell, have been in the minority. I've attempted to have discussions with Crows posters on (have given up on this, cannot even breath without getting a card) and off their board and the denial and excuses are strong. It might be getting close to undeniable now and the numbers have shifted, but the amount of club apologists Adelaide has had is staggering and to be honest, is a fair part of the problem.
