Jesus Christ, only have to look at his head to see how much this bloke is living in denial.
Your members need to do something about this.
You cannot allow such a fool to be in charge of your club.
Whatever the faults of your previous president he at least presented and spoke a lot better than this absolute fool.

Essendon great Matthew Lloyd in recent days referred to the cultural issues plaguing the club. He might not agree, but the aforementioned messiah complex was never better demonstrated than by this week’s emerging campaign to reinstate James Hird as coach of the club. Barham will have to demonstrate significant resolve to control that push as it unrolls in coming days.

It is a campaign fuelled by a significant section of diehard Bombers but is now being driven by the club’s veteran list manager and recruiter Adrian Dodoro and his cohort, which includes Kevin Sheedy and Mark Harvey. Hird has not spoken publicly.

...

Dodoro has emerged as a significant player in the in-house schism that has turned toxic in recent months. His fallout with football boss Josh Mahoney reflects just how much more difficult Rutten’s job must have been when two such pivotal figures lost faith in each other.

With Sheedy’s support, Dodoro has made his feelings on Mahoney more than clear. It is not known how Dodoro’s performance fared on paper in Mahoney’s review, which was conducted with oversight from football director Sean Wellman, but the long-time recruiter believes Mahoney has been after him for some time.

Should Xavier Campbell and Mahoney survive Barham’s external review — and that is not certain — then Dodoro definitely will not. Those relationships look irreparable.

It's staggering that a lowly List Manager can wield such power at a football club.

Regardless if even if he is the world's greatest List Manager, for argument's sake, it's exactly these types of characters that the club has to weed out and get rid of.

The 'wealthy benefactor' is really the crux of their issues. And when a guy like Dodoro knows the smart play is to buddy up with them, you don't stand a chance if moving forward.

The fact Dodoro is pushing for Hird's return is reason enough for Essendon to give him the flick.

As it keeps being raised, he knows where the bodies are buried and isn't afraid to use them.

Who is going to give them the boot ?
The President ? who is only the president on the back of Sheedy’s boardroom vote …
The club have only recently crowned Sheedy as the one and only immortal.
By their own rating, he is the greatest individual figure in the clubs history !!
Old kev isn’t going anywhere … and that’s just the way Adrian likes it … 😉

These posts are funny because for the most part, majority of Essendon people probably agree.

The joint is a dumpster fire, too many people in positions of power have a vested interest and thus nothing will change.

Unfortunately, it is my our club and we will defend it to the hilt even though we now how shit it is right now

Dodoro is at Arden St right now watching the VFL clash between the Roos and Suns. Probably eyeing off Tarryn Thomas. Seems like the kind of player he'd be interested in.

fits in perfectly, talented yet won't ever fulfil potential. Probably doing a decent job of that at North Melbourne now himself is young TT

What a contradictory post. "Things won't change so we will defend it to the hilt"

Members need to vote with their wallets. That's the only thing Essendon is interested in right now. Drop 10-15,000 members and then heads will roll.

Hird will coach next year and that will be the marketing campaign.

Shame he was an ordinary coach.
