Roo, Tex and Sloane wouldn't buy into a multi million dollar business with Dangerfield if they feared he was about to walk. Also it would be very silly of Dangerfield to buy in if he was any chance of leaving.

Why not? He can part own a pub from Melbourne, it's not like he will be the one pouring the beers.

If Jared Petrenko thinks he is half the player Danger is then thats another issue.
I am just saying that i know for a fact that Jared among others do not like the prima donna way that Patrick goes about his business.

Players might need to focus on their own game rather than be concerned if Paddy makes a dick of himself in the media and gets treated well.

Perhaps this is the problem. Too many not thinking, these guys might help win us a premiership and too worried about "they are up themselves about how good they are". Like girls at school always saying the pretty one is a bitch even when she is "unicorn" on the graph.

So many stupid posters here suggesting trading Danger. I'm not quite sure what's going on here.
No-ones suggesting we force him out for picks. There is a belief that if he won't commit we should be looking to be proactive and trade him rather then get possibility of a compensation pick next year

Danger will be a RFA. We will want to keep him. I would suggest we will be able to match offers.

So he'd have to be traded. He'll have a number of suitors, if it came to that.

Danger was one of the 3 players voted in by *his team mates* as being most valuable to the club. This says something right there. Also saw about 12 of the boys at the Transformers premier at Marion. Danger, Sloane, Talia.... all mucking around joking, and having a good time. From that dozen, they looked pretty chummy.

Yeah and I think that's idiotic when there's a 95% chance he WILL sign with us next year.
It's not idiotic at all. Tippett said he was open to a trade with Brisbane, we didn't take it and he left the year after. If danger says he's open to a trade I think we have to seriously look at our options. Now everyone would prefer him to announce a 5 deal tonight, but we have to be realistic

Not to mention he's a Norwood boy. So he was a crow supporter before he played for them? Seems like the last guy that would leave.

Was courted by both Collingwood and Hawthorn when he was playing in Broken Hill to be one of their NSW scholarship holders. As a crows supporter who always wanted to play for us he apparently sought us out saying these guys have offered this but I want to play for you so can I be your NSW scholarship holder. So said no to 2 of the biggest Vic clubs in order to come to us. He wont leave.

To be honest the head wobble is starting to piss me off too, and im a huge fan of his.

Has Danger announced that he's open to a trade whilst I wasn't looking?

That's not the issue, if he walks there is a fair chance of a falling out between the three. Roo surely wouldn't have let them go into this with uncertainty. He has put a lot into that pub.

Nah, there was no falling out between Ablett and Geelong players, Phil Davis and crows players, Buddy and Hawks players. When players are offered once in a career contracts, it is understandable that some will leave for a significant pay rise.

Business is business Roo would be able to separate the two. When it becomes an issue is when players who leave choose to text their teammates and join the strongest team, and in the process putting his previous club back years.

With Free Agency this is going to become commonplace, the players know this, in fact they supported the move towards FA.

I don't really mind him, but I'm not sure we have much of a need for somebody who runs a lot only to turn it over when he kicks it. We should only be going for players with above-average footskills and speed.

It's time we treated our club like a business. Trade out, trade up, make profit.

If a player wants out - get rid of them for the best price

If a player wants to remain and is the heart and soul (but is shit) - cut them loose.

We are about winning games and making money.

The club is built on success and pride, not rainbows and fairy farts

Are people forgetting danger has had a ankle issue all year, that has certainly affected his kicking and speed a lot

Harry O..... or Herry L.... way too high maintenance off field for a minor upgrade player wise.

Their were 2 crucial games we needed to give danger a rest and he would've been all australian

Round 11 vs Gold Coast

Up until round 11 danger was averaging 26.5 disposals and 1.5 goals per game, easily all australian then he got beaten up by Carlton and his form changed

Round 19 vs West Coast

He just got back into some from against port round 15 played well the next 4 weeks then suffered a knee injury against the pies, he wasn't rested and once again his form changed

Look at fyfe, heppel, pendlebury, beams, abblett, ward,Gibbs they have all has at least 2-7 games off this season
