Tex hated port well before he joined the AFL.
Was a crows fan as a kid and made it clear from day 1 how he felt about port.
He's the one guy in the AFL that would be least likely to go your way.

Not to mention he's a Norwood boy. So he was a crow supporter before he played for them? Seems like the last guy that would leave.

And I believe that's exactly why Port are offering him a pile of cash; they know he wont take it.

He'll never leave the Crows and because of that loyalty he probably isn't being paid enough. They want him to ask the Crows for more money because that then rules us out of buying players like Gibbs or Jeremy Cameron.

It's an offer to cut us out of future players.

Here are the key players we can use to win a premiership ASAP
Walker(1st key forward)
Jacobs(1st ruck)
Danger(on baller/wing/Flanker)
Sloane(wing/on baller)
Talia(1st key defender)
Crouch.B(on baller/flanker)
Crouch.M(on baller)
Smith(Back Flank/wing)
Yeansch(Back Flank)
Lynch(2nd key forward)
Betts(small forward)
Cameron(small forward)
Luke brown(small defender)
Kerridge(forward flank/tagger)
VB(back flank/tagger)
Jenkins(3rd key tall both defender and forward)
Second tall defender(from draft/trading) best option Davis/lever/Durdin
Outside runner(from draft/ trading) best option picket/ahern
Second ruck(from draft/trading) best option giles

those are 19 players out of 22

Lyons/Grigg/wright are all trade bait

I like the look of caleb daniel from the draft as another possible
on baller/forward and Battersby/Kelly look like players vying for promotion, Charlie is guaranteed promotion

That's so sneaky, what if he accepts it then port are screwed

I will crack it if we go for Harry. Does so many stupid things on the field - always tucks the ball under his arm then tries to run through as many guys as possible whilst usually getting caught.

Let alone the off-field part where it appears to be huge maintenance to keep him happy and it all seems to be about him.

Can't think of many players I'd rather less at the Crows.

Well, this is something I have just heard from my mother.

She was having coffee with her neighbour, who has a daughter who is married to the brother of a Crows player (well-known). I know it sounds a little far-fetched, but not as much as you think, obviously the Crows player has mentioned this to his brother, who mentioned it to the wife etc.

Apparently most of the team think Danger is gone, and the club aren't confident in keeping him and know what needs to be done if they lose all faith in him staying. This offseason will play a major part in his decision, which is fact.

The playing group are a little disenchanted also with how he gets treated. The coaches get a little too starry eyed over him.

From a few days ago speaking to a friend who travels with the team, he has mention that LJ has been handed a 3 year deal from North Melbourne, and hasn't heard anything from Adelaide this far.

I can see LJ going on to being a 40+goal forward for them. Little unsure how I feel about Danger.

I think it's come to a point where it is starting to affect the playing group. If his special treatment is starting to rub off on players already, imagine after another pre-season.

There is definitely something wrong with our culture, or the way we interview players, because the exodus over 5 years has been diabolical.

As much as I dislike Port, I give them props for the culture they have at the club, and players like Boak staying with big money offers coming from his home town when the club were an absolute rabble.

Not sure what to think of this.
But i know for a fact Jared Petrenko has said the same about the bolded part.

Walker and Lynch are 191cm and 192cm respectfully. Both third tall size. Can't have them as our two key forwards.

If North Melbourne intend to give LJ a 3 year contract than they are more stupid than I thought.

If Dangerfield leaves than so will alot of the supporterbase.

You could say that we should identified the risks with Tippett and Gunston but not the others. Our departures are magnified due to them being key position players. Port lost Burgoyne (arguably the best clearance player in the game at the time), as well as their full back in Chaplin. Both Ben Jacobs and Nathan krakouer walked out on them, who the club wanted to keep at the time, but their career's didn't/haven't kicked on.

That doesn't make much sense unless the club has put a deadline in front of him, cause there's nothing we can do about it next year.

It's seems a little like miami and lebron. Danger's our best recruiter and selling point, but it's hard to sell our future to opposition players without a commitment from him.

For what it's worth I'm not in the slightest worried about losing Tex, Danger or Sloane. Was worried about Tippett. These guys aren't stupid, if they add quality to this group via FA and trade we are closer to the top four than you'd think. Trouble since 2012 has been that too much has been left to the top 5 players we have, even the load and the same 5 will only improve on their output.

OK guys before you murder me, lets assume the club has a fair idea that Dangerfield is leaving (we all hope he re-signs but the signs arent good IMO).

Would you do this trade

Adelaide
Out: Dangerfield, Pick 9
In: Aish, Pick 4

Brisbane
Out: Aish, Pick 4
In: Beams, Pick 9

Collingwood
Out: Beams
In: Dangerfield

Agreed with what's mentioned above. If the key 3 can see us moving forward for the better with FA, a new CEO and coaching staff, I think they will all be keen to stay.

In regards to assistant coaches, Campo knows he is gone. Who to replace him?

Not sure what to think of this.
But i know for a fact Jared Petrenko has said the same about the bolded part.

Petrenko would feel this way. His spot is in jeopardy because of his performances. Danger is selected because even injured he delivers more than other options. Not good in terms of injury and might get other players off side.

His ball getting ability is what causes him to be held in that esteem. Some petty jealousy perhaps?

Where's our pick 9 going ?

If Jared Petrenko thinks he is half the player Danger is then thats another issue.
I am just saying that i know for a fact that Jared among others do not like the prima donna way that Patrick goes about his business.
