2nd quarter thoughts:

Newchurch has been quiet, but I think this is more due to his opponent playing out of his skin then anything else.

Taylor might just be playing his best game of SANFL yet. Industrious, dangerous and a touch of class.

Speaking of breakout games. Nankervis. Has been fantastic and really showing off his athletic traits.

Crouch quieted down a bit that quarter. Guess you just can't get 17 disposals and a goal a quarter against a solid outfit.

Cook is playing well. Looks dangerous on the wing.

All of our tall forwards are playing well. Gollant was probably the highlight of the quarter with 2 goals on that side of things.

Davis is having an excellent game so far.

Turner was solid, but again, looks like someone who's missed half a season of football.

Strachan is dominant.

Worrell, Frampton and Borlase haven't had to do a lot, but they've done well when required.

Bit hard to back up the 1st quarter when according to the commentators Godden sat him on the pine for 7 minutes....straight back on and laces out Berg for the goal.

Newchurch appears to be playing deeper this week and not up the ground as much as he was last week.
Yep played more wing high forward last week...I actually think wing might be the long game with Tariek.

Tariek seems to be getting tagged too.. his opponent constantly on this arse all game..

Which is smart from the bays given tarieks last game..

Still, whilst he hasnt kicked a goal yet he’s been involved in setting up a couple.. and thats what a good forward who isnt getting goals himself needs to be doing.
