Defending for those 2 goals was woeful, but you have to say the finish for the first and the defence splitting pass for the second were pretty bloody good. Shame we've pissed away that great start. I think we just happened to catch the Kuwaiti's cold and a good finish by Wilkshire and good anticipation by Heffernan snagged us a lead but up front we haven't offered much. Thompson is just not suited to playing lone striker, it really needs to be either Djite or Rukavytsya at HT to come on for him. The pitch isn't helping, Nick Carle is wasted in this game because of it. This an occassion where I think we really need to have a bit of power & pace up front & go direct. Let's hope we can pull it back out of the fire.

What a debacle. Not much of a surprise to see the European boys at the forefront of both goals (yes Heffernan scores but who set it up) and ALeague mistakes costing us both goals. Kemp has forgotten hes in the side to defend first and foremost, I stand by my original statement, and Colosimo, well again I stand by what I said.

Archies been crap but certainly hasnt been helped with the way we're playing, Sterjovski has been largely anonomous.... infact only Wilkshire, Jedinak and maybe Moore can be happy with their efforts with Carle drifting in and out as per usual.

Now I think we're gonna park the bus because we're scared to lose.
