Looking back at the top 100 picks, there are some real howlers. Lots of good picking but way too many KPP players taken too early.

The three worst picks of the top 100 imo

Stengle 45
Waterman 46
Georgiadis 63

Looking back at my selection of Georgiadis it was ill researched but I wanted another KPP but the names I left on the table was dumb. Logically I do think Georgiadis would have fallen another 200 picks so I could have waited and drafted some genuine stars around my forward line or stocked up my midfield better. This is why I dont win. haha

I think forwards seem to get selected earlier as they can score for coleman placings on top of everything else.

There are only a limited number of decent KPFs, even for this game. The rule that you need two often means you have to pay a bit more to snag one. Seems to be a lot more KPDs available, plus no end of mids.

Georgiades will have a big year you'd think

Stengle destined to hurt Adelaide fans every year

Waterman jumped a level unexpectedly last season. Whether he can keep that impact up?
Georgiades now the big banana in that forward line and going to have to perform against the likes of McKay, Balta, Barass, Taylor ext and other hulking FBs - I’m not convinced he has that in him (yet)

He's too mobile for those guys

Last year I lost 3 players for season injuries, and Pedler fell off the face of the planet. Really damaged my chances I think.

This year my tactic was to stack the forward line. There was only 60 or so points between the top group of players, snagging 40 or more points for Coleman placings would help.
