We've got 4 clear liabilities - Hunt, Corey, Lonergan and Blicavs. Add 5 possessions to Kelly and 3 - yes 3 possessions to Varcoe and it's a wonder we're so close.

Great play by Kelly to have a free reversed too. Well played dickhead - you showed him.

Our weaknesses will prove the difference and cost us the game.
You don't think he scared the piss out of that Hawthorn kid?

Bloody Varcoe rating 9 to half time,.....substitute the bugger for Caddy, he'll put his head over the ball and at least put in!!!!!!!

Ah, let's see, by reversing a free kick we'd already won, and then giving away 50? Yeah, he sure terrified him.

Not to mention that Hill has had 11 touches and kicked a goal, while Kelly (and the nickname "Pops" is looking more accurate all the time) has had 5 touches and contributed sweet feck all. Apart from reversing one of our frees of course.

Josh hunt offers nothing but fumbles and bad decisions, can't beat his opponent.
Was amazing how badly overrated he was around here when out and how many believed he would come in and sure up the defense. Should we find a way to win this at least we know who to cull for Enright.

just logged-in and have only read a couple of pages - Hunt is having a shocker, sure, but has anyone mentioned the fact that he is sporting two black eyes ? I'd be surprised if he could see 20/20 outta those things !
he should definitely be subbed off though, probably early in the 3rd.

Hawthorn have looked really systematic and measured for periods of the game, and they seem to have an economy of movement which might be a benefit of their week off. Credit where it's due; they've used the ball well when they have had it.

But I've loved our effort and intensity so far - it can be easy to be the armchair critic; but I have absolutely no doubt that every single player we have is giving %100 tonight.

Hawthorn have missed some sitters and I reckon we've been a tad stiff with the umpiring decisions on balance.

I'm happy to ride it out, stressful though it is; if we run out of legs so be it; but as long as the effort, execution and intensity is there we should be right in it with a shot.

Go Cats !

Gunston was a great get from Hawthorn. Adelaide should have done more to keep him.
The locals here were almost as pissed off as they were when Tippett left. And I think it was more about Tippet fcuking their club in the process than the tangible loss of the said commodity. campaignerston has more natural talent than Kurt.

We really need to come out firing in the 3rd-pressure and run-and a bit of bloody protection for Selwood wouldn't go astray

Halftime feelings.

In almost all of our last 11 wins vs the Hawks, we have been behind at half time. The Hawks are as good and as determined as ever, and you just can't get too confident against them. They will always come back, the Hawks. What an amazing club they are.

I am proud of where we are at the moment as it is, but a win would be the absolute icing. Can we do it? Yes. Will we do it? Improve our pressure, our defence and disposal efficiency, and we are a huge chance. We just need our boys to lift that little bit more.

Keep your faith guys! Put in 150%, and prove your worth on the big stage! You can do this!

Lots of love

There's no doubt about their efforts. But they are finding out the hard way they should have made some tough calls earlier. Sentiment has triumphed over reality and as usual it doesn't work.

Really good game.
Loving it.

A bunch of great players have hardly touched it.
Anyone looked at Hodges stats? ????? Didn't think s.

So you at the end guys.
