On what basis are you predicting that North will tire towards the end of the season? Is this because we have finished the last two seasons strongly?

Also, I would suggest Swallow, Ziebell, Cunnington, Dal Santo, Boomer, Wells, Bastinac and Gibson have by far and away more 'top end' talent than the Tigers.

To answer your second question. I think Cotchin, Martin and Deledio are all better players individually than any of the players you listed individually. That's what I meant by top end.

To answer your first question. The reason is I think your team will come out with so much emotion the first half of the season, because of the events of this past season, that they won't be able to maintain it.

These are only opinions btw so you don't need to be too defensive.

If one more post says North are similar to Richmond in 2012 I think I'm going to vomit.
Ok, so you think it's outragous to suggest that, after a year in which you dramatically improved your percentage but didn't significantly improve your ladder position due to a large number of narrow losses, you might end the h&a season 5th on the ladder. I agree. the comparison is not valid. Let's say you miss the 8 then.

If one more post says North are similar to Richmond in 2012 I think I'm going to vomit. We have been a step ahead of Richmond through the entire Brad Scott reign irrespective of last years ladder.

Brad Scott and Damian Hardwick both started in 2010. Did Scott have to rebuild his whole list? No? Oh, maybe that's why you have been 'one step ahead' of us.

Crazy people, crazy thread.

FWIW, north definitely had a Richmond '12 like season in 2013. They were in most games with plenty of narrow losses only to fall short time and time again. Many people believe they lacked heart, now I'm not saying that but if they have a season like the tigers did last year, then they will be pretty happy about that.

Meanwhile the tigers will be looking at doing a Freo 13.

1. Sydney
2. Hawthorn
3. Fremantle
4. North Melbourne
5. Geelong
6. Richmond
7. Essendon
8. Collingwood

9. Port Adelaide
10. Carlton
11. Gold Coast
12. Adelaide
13. Brisbane (tempted to put 18th for the lolz)
14. Western Bulldogs
15. West Coast
16. Melbourne
17. GWS
18. St. Kilda

Exciting thing about this year is I have West Coast so low but they could surprise me and make finals, them and all the teams above I put can all play finals if things go right, it's looking like an even year!

Can't disagree with any of that, North bias aside I'd nearly have everyone in the same spot.

West Coast a major unknown.

...Still relying on Brown...
We will learn to not rely on Brown a lot this season. He will probably play half the season at most so we will have to utilise guys like McGuane, Lisle and Close better rather than booting the ball inside 50 hoping browny will take it, we actually look for an opportunity. Here's hoping

Yep I agree. Relying on McGuane is gonna see you guys go places.

Where? Well that's a surprise and a ride in itself. Enjoy it ;)

Cotchin > Swallow
Martin > Ziebell
Deledio > Wells
Ellis = Bastinac
Conca = Cunnington
Vlastuin = Atley
Jackson = Gibson
Grigg < Dal Santo
Foley < Boomer

Pretty even IMO.

Cotchin > Swallow
Martin > Ziebell Dusty avg 3 more possession but much more outside game whereas JZ is way ahead in tackles CP and clearances. Martin > Ziebell just
Deledio > Wells Delidio avg'd 2 more possessions. Wells over a goal a game 1.1 D 0.4 Deledio = Wells
Ellis = Bastinac Bastinac is ahead in every stat line. Ellis < Bastinac
Conca = Cunnington This one has me baffled Cunnington ahead 2.6 possies, 1.3 tackles, double CP, 2.8 to 7.0 CL Cunnington clearly ahead.
Vlastuin = Atley
Jackson = Gibson
Grigg < Dal Santo
Foley < Boomer

Pretty even IMO.

Cotchin and Martin are the only > you have than us in the midfield. That's Richmond 2 North 4
