Sure the Hawks are rebuilding but if they were focusing on rebuilding then they might been better off moving on Gibson rather than Sammy Mitchell, maybe Lewis was finished in Clarko's mind but guys like Gibbo have struggled all season to influence the game as a result they now look slow coming out of defense.

I get why its usually paid a 50. But he just shanked the kick back. Shit kicks happen all the time in football. Shouldnt get penalised 50m for it. If that kick was in play he would of got to it. But he was playing for a 50m

I don't buy it. He poised himself for two to three seconds to make a 20m kick and overcooked it by 15m. If that's not paid, deliberate or accidental, there should be no 50s paid for not giving the ball back correctly

The umpiring was pretty good tonight, if anything I noticed the pies getting the rough end of the stick more often than not. Yes there were a few dubious call late that went their way, but overall the pies were hard done by early on.
