Did pretty well considering no Duncan, Taylor, Henderson and S.Selwood. If we had our 4th best player, tagged and our 2 best backmen, I have no doubt the result would have been different. Well done Hawthorn - took the opportunity when Geelong was vulnerable.

But without trying to sound biased, I felt Hawks really messed up their opportunities when shooting for goal plus that last ten minutes was excruciatingly painful to watch, holding/droping/throwing the ball is STILL in the rules right??? Plus one of the easiest decisions for a capable umpire was ignored , 50 m penalty to Smith!! ! Awful f. .King umpiring.

Slower but we were too slow at the back anyway. At least with Taylor we have a match up in the air for Roughead (we were actually really lucky to only cop 2.3 off him today, he was way too good) and also someone like Henderson just gives us an extra big body to zone off and maybe some of those marks McEvoy took might not have been so straightforward.
