Accept that your team got beheaded and the carcass got torn apart by wild horses.

We’ve all been there petal.

Life goes on.

Which one of the 30 posts I’ve made congratulating Melbourne and lamenting my own team’s poor performance do you want me to point you to? Play the ball and not the man.

What did I say that you actually have an opinion on? Do you think we are wrong for requesting home finals?

I'm just so glad it is Melbourne, the natural heir to Richmond with a solid defence and risk-on, swashbuckling attack, that got the chocolates over the chippy-chip control monotony.

You can radically change the rules of the game to try, but you cant completely destroy the teams that want to play freeflowing attacking footy.

thank god!

Hoping for Port-Dees final, could be a classic.

who rattled your cage ?

He makes some very valid points.

Richmond were so so this year due to Richmond problems. Injuries, being out coached, undisciplined players etc.

Blaming Geelong for an ordinary year from Richmond, is not classy.

By the way, I ain’t the greatest fan of Geelong. They have too many player’s in training for the Olympics Springboard Diving Team !!!!!.

Both teams have divers, Oliver, Dangerfield. It's a terrible look.

I heard a lot of saffa accents cheering in the crowd. Wierd.

Anyway, the atmosphere seemed to be grand, a shame there was no real contest apart from that chick in tier 1 row3 whose **** were in competition with each other to burst out of her singlet. I was hoping for a score draw. Sadly, i was disappointed.

I agree, all teams have divers. Can’t stand it, and should be fined by MRP on review.

Why do darn good players dive ?, they are good enough to win the ball without resorting to acting.

I don’t like it - don’t get me wrong - but I did hear it explained well once by a soccer player (can’t remember exactly who).

basically:
‘We make a lot of money based on whether we win or lose, play well or play poorly. We have hundreds of thousands, in some cases in international football millions of people who hang on every score in every game. If you can get an advantage that will assist in helping you or your team to succeed, you do what you can to get it.’

so I don’t agree with it, I particularly hate it in rugby league which is a game absolutely predicated on toughness and playing the whistle. But I can get it.

Scott in denial in the presser as usual - It would be remiss of me to say what went wrong right now. It's good that he defends the players but he should address the list, the game plan and the inability to win finals.

Whatever he says, it’s an hour after they’ve just been belted in a preliminary final. This is the sort of stuff clubs pay millions of dollars to review over a month at the end of the season. He’s not going to address that now
