A fierce rivalry has developed between the 2 clubs in recent years, ever since the great man Rance gave Jack Watts a well deserved clip round the earhole. Watts went full drama queen, acting like he'd been shot.
Melbourne have never forgiven us for the assault on their prized number 1 draft pick. They have gone from happily singing along to our song after a close game, to outright hostility.
This will be a game of two halves, and I expect a bit of argy bargy early on.

Apparently 65,000 tickets sold and capacity has now increased to 85%. We're travelling from Adelaide but I'm hoping more Dees members will come along. Should be a far better game compared to the plebs playing the day after.

There's usually a joint banner for Anzac Eve so will they have Anzac stuff on one side and Jones/Dusty milestones on the other?

I'm not sure I was just assuming given there hadn't been any so far, unless I just haven't noticed them.
What is Melbourne's best? I don't think we know yet. This is the best patch of form you've played since 2018 for sure.
I don't know what our best is? That's something we'll find out once Brown and Weideman get integrated into the team over the next month or so. We've played well no doubt but there's still lots of improvement left in the team, can't say we've hit full swing which is the point I'm arguing against.

I feel as though we're still yet to really "click" for extended periods this year. We've been structurally sound but some of our execution is still slightly off, particularly with our goalkicking. I think we still have another level to go to which might not happen for another few weeks.
