He’d actually be a great player for a methodical, slow moving side as he has sticky hands and plucks marks he shouldn’t. Great to play as a HF who continues the movement i50, or even as a third tall i50. He just isn’t suited for Collingwood’s current game style, thus the inconsistency and lack of involvement.
yeah i feel like his spot with the current mcrae gameplan just doesn't fit anymore unfortunately

It doesn’t matter if it’s r3 or r23. In the last 18 months, you’ve proven to be a level below the 6 sides that finished above you last year. 2 wins in 8 games against them tells me you’re not a threat of winning a flag this year.

Fremantle fall behind, even Lions may be the surprise drop off too, but then you’re contending with a Carlton side that is improving and then Essendon and St Kilda are this year’s unknown variables under new coaches.
Okay mate :thumbsu:

The coping by some Richmond fans in here is straight embarrassing. I think everyone knows the few posters who are doing it. Such poor losers a few of you.
They’ve only won 2 of their last 7 against the Pies. Our bunnies

Pretty rich coming from a Tigers supporter. Same supporters who insert themselves into every match day thread, whether Richmond are playing or not, and make it all about the Tigers. Anyway, it looks like you’re gradually drifting into another 37 years of irrelevance.

Losing to the current best side by 14 points in round 3 without your best player makes it 'look like' you drift into irrelevance for 37 years ? You have completely changed the field predictive modelling and numerical analysis forever.

Ultimately no. Whichever way you boil it down and dissect.

The criticism of Collingwood is valid in my view, no other club shoots itself in the foot like we have. Just one example is Eddie's 'succession plan', no club worth its salt would ever put in place a coach with zero experience in charge of what should've and could've been a dynasty team and be taken seriously.

Seems we've fixed up that area of head scratching, none the less opportunities wasted.

Without going down that rabbit hole, history only remembers competition winners, if we're only here for warm and fuzzies like 'we make granny's and finals' and accept that as satisfactory then we may as well take our bat and ball and go home.

All good and well to have perpetual hope and contend often as we do, but ultimately not succeeding is not succeeding.

I really loathe when Pie posters engage in premiership discussions, it's not an argument that can possibly be won.
Thank you, finally a sensible pies poster.
Well done on the win last night, too good for us.

That's nice dear.
Your club is almost as good as Adelaide were in March 2017 and Melbourne in March last year :thumbsu:
Don't believe people when they tell you that the Herald Sun is just chasing clicks.

How come Collingwood supporters are so melty when they've just won their grand final?
Enjoy your ticker tape parade today. Don't waste your emotions being angry and bitter all the time :)

That's right. Keep yelling at anyone who will listen how much you don't care :thumbsu:
Nothing says salty more than bringing out the “March premiers” and “we’re your grand final” lines.

Believe it or not, but Richmond is not Collingwoods arch rival or grand final, no matter how much you wish it were true. Looking forward to Richmond becoming irrelevant for another 35 odd years and their insufferable supporters consequently going back in to the woodwork.

Fair play to Richmond, last night is a six goal win without the stand rule.
You’re right, it’s a travesty that the stand rule only applies to the clubs who play against Collingwood, and not everyone.

Is your best player Robbie Tarrant?

Your best player played last night. He had a good game too.

Pushing a bloke to the ground when he's trying to get up? Nick didn't even lay the htb tackle did he? Was a s**t 'advantage' too.
I actually agree with this, it’s unnecessary and there’s just as much risk of the free getting overturned as there is in getting a retaliatory 50m penalty. I’d generally regard the Daicos bros as some of the most humble blokes in footy but Nick needed to pull his head in in this instance.
Imagine trent cotchin or tom lynch did that, would you say it was just a discussion between two blokes? Please.

It's really not a big deal, but the ruchmond fellas did what they should have in that case. Exactly what you'd expect from your own players.
Richmond players stood up for their own, as did Pendles and Frampton when they saw Nick being manhandled by a bloke twice his size. Both sets of players should be commended for defending their own, Nick was at fault for instigating it all. Simple as that.

I’m saying we were horrible, kicked 1 goal in an entire half yet still could have won the game with a few mins to go.
No you couldn't.

I'm sure you spend quite a bit of time watching Youtube clips of kittens being teased with string.....

Conversely, you were horrible, kicked 1 goal in an entire half, and the game could easily have been over by half time.

The result is what it is. Tigers did well to fight back in the 3rd, and the end scoreboard flattered them. Yeah it’s only March, but pies supporters are entitled to feel good about walking away with a win, just as you would have been if Richmond had stolen a win due to Collingwoods poor goal kicking.

Yeah no issue at all with pies blokes stepping in. I doubt he'll do it again.

I thought Thursday night's game was bad, then along comes Friday night which was worse, but North and Hawthorn are giving them both a run for their money. The footy so far this round is awful. Don't tell me we are returning to the dark ages of 2005 and 2006?

We did have something like 3-4 mm of rain just before the game to be fair.
