There’s a bye in there, so we actually play Sydney in three weeks![]()
Oh I wasn’t aware the AFL injured all your players. I’m with you now.The response of someone who knows they got a tug from the AFL
It was great. Loved it. Mostly because of the tears. The response of someone who knows they got a tug from the AFL
Think we might have 2 byes the next two weeks.I accounted for the bye. If I didn't, I would have said 2 games... sounds a bit like: Straws. Clutch.
There will be plenty of tears when Collingwood go on a long losing streak. Starting with Carlton. It was great. Loved it. Mostly because of the tears.
If we lose I'm sure there will be plenty. Don't think we will though. There will be plenty of tears when Collingwood go on a long losing streak. Starting with Carlton.
It's confirmation bias.Downright corruption in some cases, but selectively so it doesnt seem too obvious...but to anyone paying attention it IS bleeding obvious. Other clubs get the rub now and then, but I haven't seen such a consistent PATTERN as Collingwood getting late fees go their way in close games since late 2022 in my 30 years watching. It coincided with all the media hubub about them too. Hawthorn in 15-16 came closest. Arguably Bulldogs late in 16. Never remember complaining much about them prior to them. Surely I'm not alone.
Media are riding the 'Hollywood Hawks' the way they rode 'Fly's Pies' in 23. Any surprise theyre flag faves this early? Granted a good case could be made for them regardless.I definitely agree politics and other areas.
However no one can put fourth a coherent fact based argument why in the afl this is happening. If it was about money or power. Surely the bigger more lucrative clubs should be dominating constantly. They are not. Why didn’t Carlton get the rub of the green last night? They have links to the mafia and are a bigger club. Bulldogs in 2016? Surely Sydney winning would grow the game in NSW and generate more cash for the AFL?
There are so many more counter points. It just sounds like the maiden call of the loser.
Got belted by an injury riddled GWS team. I wouldn't put it past Collingwood at allIf we lose I'm sure there will be plenty. Don't think we will though.
salt would be flooding out of his eyeballs.
Can name countless other examples. Adelaide x2 in 23, Carlton twice, GWS prelim, North last year etc. It's confirmation bias.
It's why so many supporters think a particular umpire is biased against their club.
Pies got more than the rub of the green tonight. Dogs were more than a little screwed.
Umps weren't biased tonight, they were just shit.
Big difference.

Building nicely..... Hopefully... bit inaccurate tonight. I think we should beat Carlton, but who really knows. Football can be cruel.Yep.
Almost lost to an undermanned Bulldogs, but got help from the umps. Destroyed Port at the MCG but that is standard for them.
Nothing too impressive so far.

So is it the media or AFL now?Media are riding the 'Hollywood Hawks' the way they rode 'Fly's Pies' in 23. Any surprise theyre flag faves this early? Granted a good case could be made for them regardless.
Exactly my point. Can name countless other examples. Adelaide x2 in 23, Carlton twice, GWS prelim, North last year etc.
correct, hopefully some set shot practice before next game, at least 3 miss's i could have kicked in heels!Yep, pies should have won by way more

He did, he’s very underrated, he’s all heart ,I was very impressed with Lachlan Schultz. Played a great game.
He pollutes every thread he enters with spiels about the corrupt, Vic bias league and the media/umpiring based favouritism they get. The odd whinge here and there would be okay. But it is almost every single comment he makes - how to complain about the league and its difficulties for non Vic teams.First off it’s “Maiden” call. Second you obviously cannot comprehend what the word “Facts” means. Come back with something better than Vic bias trash if you want to continue this discourse.![]()
Now I have heard it all. A Port Adelaide supporter critiquing a Collingwood player for an alleged "lack of physicality"! I mean the latter phrase would apply to just about every player on your list every week. Give me a break. Goodnight & good luck.He doesn’t have to though.
He’s good enough in a whole bunch of areas, and plays for the right team, to make up for the lack of physicality he shows.
