They’ve never had a good jumper across their two club history.
Is this a troll? They've got a 3 club history and the Roys kit is an all time great.

And while that's plain objective, subjectively I don't mind any of the Lions current kits and think their Bears clash is the best clash jumper they've ever had.

No sports kit with a giant monogram looks good. Or a big cartoon lion. Or a big cartoon McDonald’s m as the guernsey maker.

The umpires from that game should have never umpired again, much less still be some of the main umpires 8 years later.

The AFL would never admit to corruption.

By the way, Fagan would want to win on Saturday, he just got named coach of the year. If he loses on Saturday he goes into Hinkley territory.

Stevic and Meredith were two of the three. However Scott Jeffery was the worst of all and thankfully he no longer umpires.

The early calls in the Port game were atrocious. Umpires just wanted to impose themselves on the game and gave Port some easy goals.

My gut says umpires will ruin this Grand Final.

I bloody hope not. Been way too long since we had 2 non vic sides in the Grand final.

2004 grand final was solid to watch for 3 and a half quarters before Port eventually sealed it.

2005 and 2006 it was Swans vs Eagles and both were good.

Neither of those 3 grand finals were not ruined by constant umpire calls.

But I also agree about the 1st quarter of the Swans vs Port prelim final last week. Port were getting dodgy free kicks.

Ports 1st goal in that prelim final came from a dodgy free kick.

I always disliked Stevic, He always was in the hawks grand finals.

Come to think of It, Stevic has been in Every grand final from 2012 to 2023, with the exception of 2013.

Those were games that didn't count for much.

You have lost your last 6 finals there. The last time you won a final at the MCG was the 2012 Grand Final.
That also doesn’t matter. They hadn’t beaten Port since 2016 and then beat them in a really important game. Much like Hawthorn defeating Geelong in the 13 PF. Hadn’t beaten them since the 08 GF.

I usually agree with this…… but the Brisbane Lion does not look cartoonish as other jumpers do who have their mascot on their jumper.

It’s very classy…. Thank god Fitzroy FC stood up when Brisbane tried to bring in their cartoon lion on the jumper. What were they thinking???

I also like to see the criticized original Brisbane Bears jumper more often as it’s such a unique jumper.

Sorry to be that guy but Adelaide won from 5th in 1998.

Different finals system though, which meant we had a second chance and did not have to win four finals in a row, which is partly why it’s so challenging.

Winning finals is incredibly taxing, but also relies on a decent bit of luck (whether we like to admit it or not), winning four of them in a row is just not that likely.

Swans have won a couple of finals at the MCG since their 2012 grand final win.

One of them was Geelong in the 2016 preliminary final. The other was vs the demons in the 2022 qualifying final.

Early GF week observations:
-Donkey John Longmire seems very relaxed, smiling a lot. He usually looks stern, thoughtful.
-Comments here and there from Lions, I reckon their self belief is through the roof.

I sense a cracker coming up.
Not the biscuit.
A large firecracker.

Hi all, just a general question - is a ticket needed to enter the ground after the game to watch the post game entertainment/see the winning team on stage later that evening? From memory a ticket isn't needed but just wanted to confirm for a couple of lions and swans supporters in my office.
