I find that a bit hard to believe

I’m disappointed, any team’s fans are when they lose, but I’m not going to tear my hair out over it. We were never expected to get this far, we gave it a great crack, and were beaten by a better side, and dozens of neutrals seem to be celebrating like their own teams have just won a flag

Haven’t picked De Koning or Hawkins. Now just imagine Daniher kicks a bag and Shannon Neale is shut down. The tactics mastermind couldn’t possibly lose the game at the selection table?

You realise DK hasn’t played AFL level footy since Round 21 due to injury and Hawkins hasn’t played since June right…

How many emergencies have the cats named? 10, 20?

As many as possible so we can get the good old Chris Scott LATE CHANGE

Hopefully you at least learned some of the rules there unlike the brainless Gabba crowd.

Half of them scream “BAAAAALLLLL” even when someone isn’t getting tackled LOL
Waiting for Broncos to return to form so half of them can head off back to watching League.
Gabba was a ghost town for 2010’s

I do get a chuckle out of this as I wasn't totally aware this was a thing until a few years back. It's funny when Vic's cry about people yelling ball but when you watch any game from any state on TV all fans do the same.

Who are the broncos anyway?

Mrs Cyclops is a Cat so I have to pick them. Secretly I'd love the Lions to win, Fagan is a fine coach and they are the most skillful mob going around. Scott the best coach in the league, I'd back him to whip Managatang 3rds into a half decent side.

I feel like this game goes a very long way to deciding the Premiership. Port wounded, and Sydney are fake, especially in Melbourne.

You can tell this guy loves his rugby league. Knows all the ins and outs of the form of different teams. Who is your favourite player?

Geelong are better odds then Lions to win the flag, but Lachie Neale is better odds to win the Norm Smith then any Geelong player.

Just found that quite interesting.

Interesting but ultimately meaningless stat time

None of the 4 prelim final teams have a positive record in finals over the last decade.
2015-2024 incl

Port 3-6
Geelong 10-10
Brisbane 7-7
Sydney 6-9

Poll is very interesting.

Twice as many Brisbane 7-20 as Geelong 7-20.

3.5x as many Geelong by a lot compared to Brisbane by a lot.

Overall:

Brisbane 88
Geelong 82

Brisbane marginal favourites on BigFooty but those who do think Geelong will win, mostly expect it to be comfortable.

Aka Geelong fans

Brisbane by 33 points. Big Joe D to kick 6. Chris Scott blames the week off.

You've obviously watched some of the Cats games to know who Neale is, what a time for him to stick his marks
