but Geelong are making a habit of 10 goal defeats
That was our 9th 10 goal loss since 2004. Only 3rd since 2015.
Hardly a habit.

Will be strange watching Geelong without the big Tomahawk lurking in the forward line - all the best to him a rotten way to end a career if that is the case - Dangerfield will (possibly?) be a big out for the midfield as well. Essendon have the momentum but Geelong have their backs to the wall. What can C Scott conjur up to get a win against B Scott?

how the F are we favorite?

Probably the whole Geelong losing 5 of 6 or 6 of 7 or whatever. Bombers won't get a better opportunity to dish out some revenge than this weekend, no Tommy to feast on you, no Danger (actually that's par for the course) and most of our team is in rank form.

yes it hasn't gone unnoticed that tom wont ****ing obliterate us for once.

Cats 1/6 wins for starts recently - Danger & Hawkins out - if Essendon are finals worthy they have to win this.

cats are a proper bogey team for us. Dont recall being favs against them for a long long time. I suppose its at the G and not in gelong which probably counts for alot.

this reek of 2023.

Essendon were 5th on ladder against Geelong in round 18 and got belted by 77 which sent us to 8th place.

if we are at all serious then i agree we should win it, will we though is an entirely different question.

I am hard to convince these days!

Hard to pick this one. If Hawkins was in I’d say Bombers but now since he is out I can see Cats pulling this off.

hawkins rips us new assholes every time he plays us.

he is a massive out.
