We are every chance to lose a player like LDU who is in his prime to lead the charge, because sides like Collingwood & your own could really use an icing on the cake midfielder like LDU.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we get pillaged before we get good (McKay, Zurhaar, LDU) and then have to start again

Stephens was god awful and I hope he never plays for North again. I’m sure he’s a decent person, I don’t dislike him in that respect but 1) he’s weak in any contest (see going to ground for no reason to set up the Corr Clanger/Dempsey goal) and 2) his ball use is shaky at best, terrible at worse, and so often it’s when he’s in space and has no pressure.

I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if Chris Scott told Geelong to zone off when Stephens had the ball to give themselves an extra interceptor for the incoming Clanger.
