Disappointing result but it's incredible what the team has achieved with such a change in personnel. Looking forward to 2015.

Horrendous disposal and lack of hardness. To often we were just simply pushed off the ball or lost our feet. But the whole night just didn't go our way.
Selwood great in the first half... Caddy ALL game. Hawkins great!
Motlop was clearly injured. Story of our year really.

Recent success (3 years now) DOES NOT excuse failings. That kind of attitude is what leads to a culture of mediocrity and acceptance of failure. A straight sets exit after finishing top 4 is NOT good enough.

The eventual slide is bound to happen. Our coach isn't a miracle worker. As I said, perspective. Take a breath and calm down.

How else do you explain McCarthy starting as sub...spark on the deck in the forward line. Didn't have it until last 10 minutes of game...would've been handy from start wouldn't you say? Who made that decision?

He was a ripper. Went quiet in patches but absolutely agree with you- superb for such a young man.

I really liked his second and third efforts. He just kept trying. And that's just like our Skipper who is the role model for courage and effort.

I have to say the umps decided that game.between the score review,the no holding the ball to duncan and the murdoch free,they decided it.

Not that we deserved to win but it was rubbish.

the only thing rubbish was how geelong played in the first 3qrts.

Well the one positive is we have found our second big forward to complement Tommy. Josh Walker has stepped up. He should be a starter for every home and away in 2015. Spare him from rucking though and let him be a goal scorer for us!

Oh- and another positive- Caddy stepped up beside the Caotain. And Guthrie was better than he has been for the past month.

All the talk will be about the comeback (which, credit were it's due, was fantastic) but for three and a half quarters Geelong were pathetic. Worst disposal I have seen for years. Mackie and Kelly can both retire.

Backline is the first place we need to look to address after this shameful, pathetic and utterly embarrassing exit and those two especially have been garbage when we've been under the pump over the year and especially both finals.
