There's eleven premiership players in that squad - hell of a VFL team. Compared to the Tigers team...far as I can tell they've got 7 guys who are yet to play an AFL game. Don't want to underestimate them but if we lose it's down to desire/rotation/tactics, not lack of talent.

The way they were talking on K-Rock last week, they'll be covering it. Not sure what time the broadcast starts though.

Are we having subs in this game?

Good question actually. Thinking about it now, I'm pretty sure these challenge games are H&A rules with an extended bench, so no supergoals, subs or other BS.

Yep, I suspect that even with that team on the park we'll beat the Tigers, who basically have rookies on every line. I'd expect it to be a competitive side at the very least. Great to see so many youngsters get a game, too.

I believe last year they changed that rule to stop teams from losing first round and then having the "advantage" of playing with the normal rules instead of NAB cup rules. Unfortunately I think there will be supergoals, subs and all that BS.

Ground is looking a treat. Was having a chat with the curator this arvo out the middle and guess who strolls on out for a chat? Ben Cousins!! Was hilarious. "Grounds lookin a f***ng treat boys", a quick chat, and then strolls off! He came up this arvo and is staying in town, needless to say there have been many sightings.

There were no supergoals in the results of yesterdays 2 practice games so maybe they don't have them in the NAB Challenge games.
