Tonight's game has got me back into a footy frame of mind. I think I'm most excited to see how Caddy goes, but I'm also intrigued by Thurlow. Pre-season's also good for noticing the little things like new tats and tans and who's been downing the most supplements.

Given our tough start to the proper season there's going to be no room for half arsed performances in the NAB Cup this year (like last year). So while I don't care if we win or lose all I want to see is the players having a crack.

Couldn't agree more. They need to be utterly primed for Round 1. They've now got at least 3 games to get that final bit of conditioning and match practice.

As much as I love the Cats, heading to South Yarra on a balmy Saturday Night has never been my idea of 'fun'. Christ, might have to be the Elsternwick Hotel. Better pack the Armadillo, just in case.

I'll be north of the river tomorrow - Altona of all places. The things we do for German-industrial-rock n' roll!

The guy is a midget who is just a tease and if quality players, especially those from Geelong can't cope I think that says more about them. He's been very unlucky with the MRP for just being a tease. He certainly teased Chappy and Newman.

Be great to see how Rivers goes in his new colours and Caddy in the guts alongside Duncan, Bundy and Poodle.

Most footy fans hate the likes of Libba, Baker, Ballas etc. because they don't succeed on talent but by breaking the rules. he is a good footballer, and if he stopped sniping might start getting some respect. The twitter reaction by other AFL players shows the esteem he is held in even amongst his peers.
