If we had of won last week i would have agreed.

Lions are definitely going to win. Went to the TAB this arvo to put on my weekly multi bet and thought i put Geelong with the Dog and Saints, get my ticket back and i put the wrong number in and now i have the dogs, saints and Collingwood.

Good luck for Saturday night, I hope we can provide a decent contest.

I think this is the hardest trip in footy, the trip across climate zones does a lot to players and has certainly affected us more than the trip to Perth IMHO.

Of course the flip side is you guys get the worst trip every second week.

We have to take you seriously because while Brisbane has injuries they also have footballers on their list. Compared to say Carlton which has patched together some fast running guys and a handful of stars.

Voss has proved me wrong (I thought he was another Tony Shaw, favourite son and natural leasder without coaching experience), he's gotten some wins from a "transition list" and while injuries have taken you down the ladder, he's come back from bad positions before.

I love the fact that Anthony (straight shooter) and Presti (heavyweight) have come in, I think it shows we respect the Lions despite the form line and intend to play hard.

Brown knows what it takes, Fev has done us many times when we should've killed his side. I have faith but I certainly won't take this coach and these footballers for granted.

The wheel will either turn for us on Saturday night or we will all be crying into our beer. Either way we must roll the dice and play on at all costs. I have tipped against the Lions for the first time this season, we are a massive chance. It is our turn to rise and pies turn to come back to the field.

We do have the cattle - i think its more of a mentality thing.. ever since the melbourne defeat, our heads have hung low. Time to show some character boys!

Voss, as determined as he is, is a perfectionist, which doesn't bode well with every personality type. Doing the wrong thing may hang over ones head for a while knowing that the coach won't be happy... need some more relationship coaches at the club... sports is very much a confidence game and the confidence of the boys need some prepping!

I can't wait for 2morow's game.. upset is on the cards!

I'm starting to think we're a chance. If we come out and bring the pressure we applied in the first four rounds we can win. If we can click, and that's a big if, we're a very good side. Black vs Collingwood, put Blacky down for 30 touches and 3 votes

I disgree re TJ - a massive gulf b/w his best and worst. I could make the same argument for Brown, Power, Black, Rich, Redden and a dozen more. Since the merger, I have never seen a bigger scapegoat than TJ at the club. It would be nice if Coach Voss just for once uses the same reasoning and logic for all players at the selection table.

For the life of me, I couldn't see why Trav got the bullet after the Freo game...there were a lot worse than him that night!

Don't underestimate the abscence of Davis and Medhurst, these are the types of players we play into form and dominate against us.

I'll cop a 10 goal loss if we try and do this. If mistakes come because we are playing attacking footy, then fine with me. But if we are hesitant, allowing the opposition to dictate the game, then I will be disappointed. At some point, it has to click - we are at our best when we attack. Run, play on and work for each other - it is a very simple game plan.
