Shattered that we couldn't win that one, but credit has to go where it's due...you guys were brilliant, and we weren't good enough, simple as that! We really only turned up for the first half of the game (in my opinion, anyway), and you tend to get found out pretty quickly when that happens! Congrats to the Lions, and to Luke Power on his 250th...he played a fantastic game, as did most of your players tonight.
All the best for the rest of the season...I think you guys will be just fine.

This game we deserved to win because Voss had a very obivous plan and the players executed perfectly. It's also the first game in a long while where we played at least 3 quarters of hard and tough football - and we also remained level headed for most of the time.

I think we won because Voss took the handbrake off the young guys. He let Rich and Rockliff play and they along with others took the pressure off Black and Power. They had to be matched up on.
Good to see Collier have a good game as well. For the first time I didn't think he looked out of his depth. He worked very hard in teh first half and did well.

Brilliant win by the boys...love it when we defy all odds to win. No commentator gave us a chance but very glad they are stuffing themselves with some humble pie.
Also happy with the game time being pumped into Rich, Banfield, Rockliff & Redden this year. Will come in handy the next few years.

I agree with you on Collier, he looked fairly comfortable at both ends of the ground tonight. The pressure has been on him so it is good to see him respond with a reasonable game.
