And i would drop one of our short people, to many blokes just to bloody small, draft some big bodied midfielders FFS

Blair should go IMO

Blair one of our best again last night and one of the most consistent for this year and last year! Not sure why he continually pops up on the OUTS for people??

My changes for Brisbane

OUTS
Witts - A long way from the saviour I'm afraid. Can't see him every being first ruckman unless someone can teach him how to jump.
Jolly - almost finished. Can't run, can't jump, can't stop giving away free kicks and complaining afterwards
Clarke - Wasn't too bad, especially in the last but Shaw must come back in to the backline and provide some run.
INS - TBC following VFL performance but Paine, Hudson, Shaw

If Didak has a good one then he comes in for Krak. Can't have both of them in the same team IMO

We also need to have a good hard look at the forward structure. If we want to allow the opposition to have a loose man in defence we need to be dominating with our loose man. If it isn't immediately working then friggin change it!

Out: Lynch, Jolly (rest), Russell (inj??), Kennedy
In: Hudson, Paine/Didak, Johnson, Sinclair

Lynch needs to go back to the VFL, 9 games, 4 goals, sorry it's not working. Play Witts and Hudson next week (Jolly needs another rest) and bring in a third forward, a proper forward, someone who actually kicks goals (Didak or Paine).

It's time to abandon this stupid, absolutely insane secondary ruck option that isn't a real ruckman.

I reckon if Witts played games in a row in Lynch's spot he'd not only ruck better but he'd have more goals on the board.

We need Sinclair back in that forward line, he may not be the long term option but we need his pressure.

And if Russell is injured, heck even if he isn't bring BJ back in.

In: Oxley, Martin (upgrades for Fasolo and Tooves/Daisy), Shaw
Out: Russell (if injured, if not roll dice and take out Maxy, I thought his defending 1on1 in particular was lacklustre and at the start of the game went spare man, leaving Goodes on his own, who missed 2 goals in what the first 10 mins) and Blair/Dwyer and Lynch.

Lets give Blairy or Dwyer a week off, play some VFL to try and get them into some form after Blairy has had poor games over the past few weeks and when it's not Dwyer's day, he really is just a passenger. Q has been somewhat disappointing so far, really need to give him a kick up the backside and see if that gets him going for the remainder of the year. We still are kicking it to Cloke in a 2 on 1 or straight to the Sydney spare so you'd have to wonder what on earth Q is doing when we have the ball in our hands running down the wings, make a lead lynchy. At the minute if we can pump games into youth I think we should so keep Witts in the position Lynch has been.

We need either Paine or Goldsack to come in as a forward. And someone needs to tell Krak to get to Trav's feet when he is triple teamed.

OUT: Witts, Kennedy, Clarke
IN: Paine, Didak, Shaw

If Goldsack and Johnson are available.... then we should probably bring them in too. We need some guys who bleed black and white....

We'll probably come out and play a blinder.... before drawing on QB or something. This hot and cold form is horrific.

Out: Jolly, Lynch, Clarke, Russell (Blair)

In: Hudson, Paine, Goldsack, Shaw (Didak)

Witts to play up forward with no Lynch and rotate ruck duties with Hudson. Paine to play third tall in the forward line. Goldsack and Shaw back in defence/wing. Possibly Didak for Blair, give Kennedy a run from the 1st quarter, if he tires out either Didak or Dwyer as the sub?

Trying to pe positive, we have quite a few that could be considered ins for Brisbane.
Will they improve the side and plug some real deficiencies from last night.

Shaw- if fit is a must
Johnson- probable in, gives a bit of run and carry, still a pretty good one on one defender
Goldsack- yes, has become an important player for the structure, if not for his actual talent
Paine- possible in, need to see consistent form, improves the crazy top heavy structure we have
Sinclair- maybe
Mooney- one good game in the VFl and we rush him in for Freo then he vanishes. I hate reactionary selection!! Adds much neede pace, is a possible
Martin- I think a probable in with a midfield that is currently thin and lacks the balance between pace, strength, size and kicking skills.
Hudson- Likely to rest Jolly, who is still critical this year, must be kept fresh which playing Hudson can do.
Didak- maybe, gives us some much needed disposal gains, this next run of games should allow him more space in which to work. Im sure he will play soon
Oxley- seems very promising, maybe another upgrade chance.

Players under pressure from last evening, ( these werre not necessarily the only poor players, but the most likely for demotion)
Q, Witts and Jolly ( rested)
Russell ( inj?), Marty, Dwyer or Blair ( one of, need to re-energise small forward and mid area),
Kennedy ( to play a full VFL game, although i would play him for his pace and energy at AFL)

I think we can put a better side on the park next week from the above list. Im also looking for another couple of ins like

harder 2 way running
more intensity in the clearances
better decision making and disposal
improved forward line structure
improved kick out strategy
more imagination on match day
faster reaction to obvious match day 'problems'

Another week, another injury.

OUT: Russell(inj), Witts, Clarke ||| Maxwell, Kennedy
IN: Didak, Paine, Shaw ||| Johnson, Martin

(Johnson and Martin depending on VFL performance)

Need to go back to making 'wholesale' changes and getting our best team out there.
I guess it won't matter what you think, seeing as "you will be out of here if Didak is not picked"

It should have been Jolly subbed out last night instead of Witts.

We need to start getting kids out, and experience back in. A couple of kids is alright, but 5+ is far too many.

IN: Didak, Goldsack, shaw, johnson, paine
OUT: Witts, Clarke, Kennedy, Lynch, russel(inj)

I dont want to see witts and jolly play together. They are far too slow. Lynch needs a run in the seconds. Bring some experience back on the field and start winning games consistantly.

Hm after the VFL, Martin and JT have almost packed their guernseys in their suitcases headed for brisbane. Paine was impressive but innacurate, kicking 3 or so goals but easily 3 or so behinds.

IN: Martin, JT, Shaw (if fit)
OUT: Clarke, Lynch, Russell (if inj, if not Blair)

These moves give is so much more run and bigger bodies in the midfield. We need Martin, he's been absolutely bashing the door down for weeks now and Bucks must see that he has a place in our team like he has Dwyer.

Out Witts, Jolly, Blair, Clarke, Lynch

Ins Hudson Didak Shaw Martin Paine

Rockets up the arse of Sidey, Swan, Brown, Maxwell,

Don't have a second ruck, don't care. Hudson is durable and doesn't get injured and worth the risk.

Ball might also be rested after two games back from a knee reco. In which case, bring Josh Thomas in too for Ball.

No second ruck? So Hudson has to not only play the whole game he has to ruck for 100% as well? That's suicide.

As for Ball, we have much easier games coming against Melbourne and the Bulldogs. Rest him then if we have to at all.

Witts and Hudson as a ruck combo at senior level makes me seriously uneasy. While I have complete confidence in Hudson, I get nervous about Witts having to shoulder the load that Lynch would usually do, and while Lynch isn't hitting the scoreboard he has elite endurance and is a huge unit with the ability to take some grabs and smash packs - is Witts capable of that?? Long term Witts & Grundy is the answer, but right now Witts at senior level without backup gives me butterflies.

Cant say i understand what all the hate is for Blair, been one of our better performers all year. Yea he might be a little small, but hes playing a role at the moment which isn't his usual in the side due to injuries to Beams and Thomas, and Ball before the last two weeks. If everyone else on the list had the heart he did, we could be undefeated still.

In - Depends who's available (ie Goldsack, Shaw), but Dids had better be somewhere near it.
Out - Witts. I honestly don't care who else, but Russell looked injured so that may save someone else from getting dumped.
