We’re matching their intensity, but our turnovers by hand are killing us. I reckon all 5 of their goals that quarter were from turnovers.

Phillips just had one of the worst halves of footy I’ve ever seen. I’d nearly delist him at half time.

Perfect summary. I reckon if we clean up our skills... we're very much still in this, the margin is gettable.

It seems we have no plan on how we should get it into our forward 50.
Is it our forwards aren't leading and being in right positions or our mids just don't know where to kick it?

One ought to think we would have tried something else after seeing it the entire season

Phillips is the worst for it. Two direct handballs the wrong way to lions players tonight and a poor attempt on goal

Always hangs on to the ball that second too long, cant make decisions quick enough

Need to move him on

I'll admit I've defended Phillips for quite a while.. I've reached my limit! He is playing frigging awful and costing us again and again! Get him off!

No he doesn't. He's shown a ton of poise for a 20 gamer, he breaks tackles and takes the game on constantly. No where near our worst, one of our few consistently polished disposers by foot who continually tries to be aggressive with the ball.

How anybody could pick out Noble as a target in a team with experienced vets like Phillips, WHE and Crisp continually fumbling and making errors is beyond me

noble is average, he turns the footy over under pressure every time.
And you rate noble above crisp, you are mad!

I think we all know Phillips is no where near Afl standard skill wise! But as we all know you'll always get a game if you can run marathons.

They mentioned it on the broadcast at the beginning. I guess he told them not too. It's not related to the club or anything so probably no need for them to wear it.

Grundy has so far proven to be a highly, highly disappointing $1m p/a investment.

I can’t think of a single game this season where he’s had an impact for four quarters. He’s been very ordinary.

You do realise he is a defender not a midfielder or a forward.

Defenders usually get more of the ball compared to forwards

Realistically we're missing 4 of our best 22. We had plenty of injuries in 2018 and made the GF. No excuses for poor skills that a first year player should be able to do.

All good. They will fix it this trade period by picking up another 3 five foot nothing small bodied recruits who can kick a maximum of 35 metres. We’re set!

Really, REALLY ****ed off by that half. We’re literally our own worst enemy. The skill errors that have lead to goals are unforgivable.

The thing that bugs me the most is that the likelihood of us turning the tide is unlikely because well, we just generally don’t. Thomas, Stephenson, Cox, Brown, WHE, Phillips are just dishing up their poorest stuff again and I can’t really remember the last time any of these names responded to the challenge of a good team getting on top of them.

Yeah he's had a good season, but in his 20 games to date - I notice when it gets REALLY hot, he folds pretty quickly.

Hopefully some poise comes with more experience.
