I'm not a Wood fan, but sometimes you need to give credit where credit is due. The games he played this year he has been alright. I think his last game might have been against GC where he was one of our best on the day. Yeah I know, it was only GC.

if u actually havent seen him play in the vfl then perhaps u shouldnt comment on him because when ive gone to watch the vfl boys his been nothing short of disgraceful. Witts has been 10x better then him.

Why on earth did we not pick Jackson Paine??? We desperately need to get games into him in case Travis goes down with injury. Under no circumstance can we rely on a Wood, Ceglar, Witts or Dawes holding down the key forward post if Cloke isnt there.

Cam Wood has had so many chances to nail down a permanent role in the seniors its not funny but hasnt stepped up to the plate. If anything he has gone backwards in his development which just baffles me.
Time to start blooding Witts who at least shows the intensity/desire required for AFL that Wood is majorly lacking in.

yeah, jolly's had enormous amounts of consecutive games missed, giving Wood a long run at that #1 ruckman spot. the one time jolly has had 8 or so weeks off in a row, Wood showed plenty and was quite good toward the end of the run, but hey that happened more than a fortnight ago so who would remember that right?

Because we can easily cover Fasalo, Beames & Toovey. We have nobody who can adequately replace Cloke.
At least Paine would give us a good contest and a couple of goals. Wood, Dawes & Ceglar would be no better than card board cut outs.

Are you talking about the Gold Coast game? The one where he was the second-highest ranked player on the ground according to Champion Data, higher than Gary Ablett?
I have not seen Wood's name in a list of best players all season. Having said that, I don't think I have seen Jolly's name in a best player list either.
