Dunn is a FB.
Howe is just being targeted hence the output lower than normal.

The others are all half forwards or mids.
That's not good enough.
As i said cant have that many players not touching the ball and win. The reasons dont matter.

Add the two kids, who mind you have matched all of those listed, plus Cox (who at least has kicked two) and that is almost half the team with 6 possessiobs or less.

You are right about the defenders but then we also need to add Langdon who also has 6.

Add out efficiency at 57% and we can stop blaming the umpiring. Half the team isnt getting the ball and the other half turns it over every 2nd possession.

We are going to get slaughtered if this continues.

Most are rightly cracking it over the umpiring. Which has been atrocious thus far.
Havent really seen that at the ground. Been more aware of Pies doing well

We were up by almost 30 points to start the 2nd quarter then semi change our game plan to keeping's off deny rather then continue to attack.

We have been doing it alot last few weeks like they go we are in front oh shit panic lets just try keep our lead not add to it just try stop them having teh ball hur dur.

I say semi because we still played a switch and deny style in the first but we are pulling the trigger more to enter attacking 50, that 2nd quarter we just shut up shop completely didn't even look to attack was simply trying to limit geelong the ball and eventually they score.

******* idiotic game plan in that 2nd quarter or really really poor execution of the first quarter tactics.

We refuse to even go to a 50/50 inside 50 on a lot of occasions in that 2nd quarter.

Bucks trying to bore us all to death or what....

You honestly think when we were 30 points up that Bucks sent a directive down to hold the ball and play boring?

Its all about a quality opposition tightening up and our players going into their shell. Cats really closed down our switch.

Im sure the message at half time will be to keep taking the game on and move the ball quickly

Very disappointing. It's so typical of us though. Yeah the free and goal to Danger, and the questionable mark and goal to Taylor prove costly, but what about Smith across goal to Phillips that lead to the Bews goal? We're our own worst enemy and when the umpiring seems against us it only adds to the problem.
Smith's kick wasn't great, but Phillips also hesitated and held back from the oncoming Geelong player. In years gone by a player in Phillips' position would have just ran through his opponent.

As Buckley would say shared experience is important. For us that experience has at times been gained in the twos. Cox's 2 goals were delivered to him by Daicos and Broomhead both of whom would know his leading ability from the VFL. Good to see it translating to the next level.

Big Coxy taken some very big strides today has looked great, will only be better for it after another preseason look out! Grundy might have some stiff competition next year as Cox already *directs* the taps better in the center and is now pushing forward and getting involved.

I don't think any side can afford to carry players as slow as Blair,Phillips, and Smith.Maybe one of them, but certainly not three. They couldn't run out of sight on a dark night.

Despite the Smith clanger, the umps letting a blatant throw go was the only reason the ball was down there.

I honestly think the directive to play keepings off is leading to hesitation in our attacking movement and likely the over arching gameplan is to deny so yes Buckley does instruct it especially given it is a common theme for half the season. Add to that a pinch of my frustrated sarcasm that you seemingly miss...

Geelong can tighten up all they want, we should have a plan in place for it, continuing to play deny footy when you are a kick out of the f50 is ****ing dumb!
You have to back your forwards in to win the 50/50s if the opposition defence is sturctured up well, currently we aren't and not only that their is a clear focus on not even attempting to enter the f50. It is clearly a plan to deny...

I'm not very impressed with Phillips - every time he gets near the ball it's either a fumble or turnover.

Of course not. It's Chelsea. One year on, one year off haha. ******* ridiculous higher ups at Chelsea.

Abramovich or however the **** you spell his god awful name is only interested in his expensive yacht collection.

The biggest issue with our defense is we have two natural mids and one natural netballer in there. Maynard, Crisp and Smith are not defenders.

Maynard and Crisp are midfielders. Maynard would be a great asset. Also, anyone remember some of Crisp's tagging games? Though it was his best run.

He looks and acts like the John Wick villain. He actually is him.

I think the Glazers at United will become like that when we start winning things again, they were very complacent when they bought United during the late Fergie era.

Hopefully the years without winning may have taught some humility. Make them appreciate the winning position more!

They've come out flat. Poor kicking doesn't help.

We are a team that does not know how to hold a lead. Period. We work so hard to get it and give it up with ease.
Poor skills in our 50m arc costs us 2-3 goals every game.
We gets lots of indirect useless stats that mean absolutely nothing!
