I know where you're coming from but we never have, nor will we ever have our full strength side in 2012, due to Caff and Ball more than anyone else.

But yeah, it's a strong side, on paper at least, but some of those big names are playing poorly, and I'm not just referring to Cloke and Dawes.

All the focus in the media has been on Cloke and Dawes, yet Tarrant, Goldsack, Sinclair, Elliott (when he was playing) and anyone else in that forward line have been poor for weeks now.

In fact the only reliable forward we have now is a second year small in Alex Fasolo.

Form is our biggest hurdle now though, not injury.

Yeah I know what you mean.

What I meant was from the players available to us this season (not long term injuries such as Ball).

Ins: krak & Maxwell, Out seeds & sinks.

Keep Jolly on mothballs. Needs to play a minimum of 3 games straight after that & I'd expect them to be as hard as it gets. Don't think Wood will cost us this match whereas I am damn sure we will need a fit, firing jolly throughout the finals to have a chance and he does not need to play to find 'touch'.

If we are at all fair dinkum will we rip em a new ass hole and win by 80-100. They are on their last legs and thinking of next year.

If Krak plays anything like he did last season, he could be that forward spark we desperately need. He has the pressure of Sinclair and Elliott but 100 times better goal sense and finishing.

Jolly taking the ruck load by himself will be interesting. I like the changes though!

We are fairly tall with this team though, will be interesting if we continue that into finals or bring Blair back.

JT in with the emergencies again. Will be keen to see if he makes the "finals squad"

Who plays second ruck? We simply can't push Jolly too much in this game.

Anyway, Blair out with a groin injury, hope it's not too bad.

Cloke, Reid and Brown are the tallest players on the ground, maybe they'll all play a minor part. Seems a strange risk to take, although maybe Jolly has put his hand up for it?

They'll play Jolly 100% of ruck time with others taking the forward line throw ins.
I suspect it's just a 1 week rest though not a "dumping"
We can't do that to Jolly in this game though, ideally I would have played Wood and let Jolly rest forward a lot this week, because if Jolly runs himself into the ground this week, and misses the finals it's all over, we have no backup.

Perhaps they will put Cloke in there and see if he reallys plays for the jumper.......

With no VFL this weekend what chance does Dawes have to try and get his touch back? Is it just a week's rest? How can they bring him back in again for the finals-he may be done for the year?

Finally! Dawes is out. Don't think he will play for the rest of the year obviously due to the VFL side finishing. Surprised that Jamie has come in though, thought they might've just kept Sinkers or Seedsy in there. Hope that Blair's groin injury isn't too bad.

Everyone here got their wish. Unlucky is Paine does SFA

My wish was for them to bring in one of the young rucks...can't see why they'd bring in a third tall but hey, the kid has been playing well at VFL level and he is going to get a great opportunity versus a very weak essendon team.
