how funny can things change - gone from potenial trade bait to B&F & AA contender.......who would of thunked it!

It was all in the first half as we should of had the game wraped up with our shots on goal

Jarred, Lukey, Storm Boy, Rocky, Proudy, Fev and Strawb were excellent tonight!

Great to see Fev playing so well and more importanly doing everything to get his life back in order.

Strawb was excellent on Hall as well - kept him goaless in 2nd half

I still can't believe we won tonight.... I'm in absolute awe of how we play this game.

At 2 goals 11 behinds..... Another emotional roller coaster ride but a great win by the boys and the best one this year - I especially liked the 3.5 quarter effort and how good is winning the clearences at all let alone without Clark and Black

Rocky is just a really smart footballer. He is a big asset to this team and I can't seeing going back to the seconds anytime soon.

The smartest thing he has done - lost weight and vastly improved fitness, the footy brains were never an issue... so good to see reward for effort. As you suggest Quigs he now seems a lock in.

I very much doubt that. Sure we beat the Bulldogs. But I think all the talk this week will be about Collingwood and their domination over the Hawks.

Thats not to say I wouldn't love to see the Lions make headlines for the right reasons. We earned our victory tonight..... but we sure didn't make it easy for ourselves. We need to improve if we want to make a REAL impact in Victoria, CHAT wise

Got back from the game and watched the 3rd quarter again. Damned good stuff.

Raines's vision is great and the more he plays the more he gets to make use of it.

My favourite statistic from tonight? 72 inside 50s for 36 scoring shots. We had an inaccurate night, but our forward pressure was great and we managed to get multiple bites at the cherry almost every time we missed.

Hawksley cost a few goals tonight and I would expect him to be in serious doubt for next week.

Totally agree he had a shocker of a frist half giving up 2 easy goals, i sent one of my mates a messgae saying he might of cost us the game already at half time, he did come good in the second half with some good attack on the ball, but i can see him getting left up for McGrath.
