Based on a 13,000 AFL members ticketing allocation and that list (with the remaining 10,000 AFL reserve tickets to go to corporate red wine sniffing over weight fat cats who are attending their first or second game in the post covid era) I estimate the following:

1) Collingwood V Brisbane - 8,000 10,500 for competing gold. 5,000 2,500 for non competing gold.

2) Collingwood V Carlton - 12,000 15,000 for competing gold. 1,000 0/??? for non competing gold.

3) Brisbane V GWS - 500 750 for competing gold. 12,500 12,250 for non competing gold

4) Carlton V GWS - 4,500 5,000 for competing gold. 8,500 8,000 for non competing gold.

I would challenge this...(Using 2013/14 Numbers) (Updated in your quote)

Thanks for bringing up the table.
Are gold members capped at the same number as they were in 2013/2014?

Is there any cap?

I think there is no cap. If a Hawthorn gold drops off and a Pies gold gets upgraded, then the numbers adjusts, hence why i think Pies are much higher and other clubs could be much lower.

We really don't know what the AFL are doing re. numbers.

If it is a Collingwood v Carlton grand final, I'll be very surprised if those Gold members do not take up all of the tickets, meaning there are going to be a lot of pissed off Collingwood and Carlton who miss out, thinking AFL Membership was the way they were going to guarantee themselves a ticket.

Aside from AFL Members, there are going to be a lot of club members that miss out, if it is Collingwood v Carlton.

We could see the highest priced GF tickets on the blackmarket ever.

Maybe it's perfect storm we need to get some change at the AFL. Some clarity about the numbers and the situation.

Having Gold members miss out would be perfect, as the Pies and Blues wouldn't take it lightly I assume (Hell, they might even be in on the secrecy)

0% chance it goes past 2 in that situation.

Remember in 2018 the grand final allocation for non competing gold members sold out in 7 minutes.

This is with Collingwood having 7,000 gold members and West Coast 200.

Going to be a schmozzle for non competing gold members on Sunday if it's the likely Collingwood V Brisbane outcome.

Tomorrows Prelim sold out in 10 minutes. It doesn't take long to allocate tickets.

Fingers crossed for GWS v Bris 🤣

i know we all like to have a whine in here, but assuming you are gold, and your team makes it. Unless its two of the big 4 you are pretty much guaranteed a GF ticket.

IF it happens to be a carlton vs pies GF watch out for the mass of whinging about tickets not being available, even though a majority of the people doing said whinging, either dont have a membership that guarantees, or increases you chances of getting a ticket, or dont have a membership at all..

when it comes down to it the MCGs capacity hasnt changed significantly in 30 years, yet club memberships have.
in 1995,
Blues had 18,500 now 90k plus
collingwood had 20,800, now 100k plus
