I mean, we could pick up Daniel Talia as a delisted free agent and I'm sure he would be sprouting the same 'wants to break into the midfield' shit. Hill is a forward, a barely average one at this point, and should work on getting that right first before anything else.

Third rounder, future second is way too much.

Most small forwards go missing, it’s a tough position to play and inevitably you will be in and out of games.

He’s 21 and has huge scope for improvement, reminds me a lot of a young Charlie Cameron.
Undersized indigenous small forward with a few tricks but doesn't get a whole lot of it. Reminds me more of a Leroy Jetta. Hope not.

Could we do a 3 way with the Lobb deal ?

Freo out: Lobb
Freo in :#11 (have 6,8,11)
Gws out: Hill, late pick or future.
Gws in :Lobb
Ess out:#11
Ess in : #19,#22, Hill

2 top 25 kids or we might be able to pair them and move up higher than #11.

Just talking with a GWS supporter; Hill had shoulder surgery in his first year, Covid bubbles etc in his second year, girlfriend pregnant in his third and asked to leave to support her, so there have been mitigating circumstances that have affected his development and consistency. Moving to Melbourne should hopefully settle him into a rhythm and allow him to focus.

Trade week is interesting once again! Now the media can stop reminiscing about Dodoro stories of the past and talk about the current trade at hand! He really is the centerpiece to trade week, for the media and general interest at least.

Everybody now:
Take 1 Shot when: "Adrian Dodoro is notoriously hard to deal with..." is mentioned in an article.
Take 2 Shots when McCartney offers a deal that is well overs Hill's market value
Take 3 Shots when McCartney has a sook at 7:30 on Wednesday after a fair deal has been negotiated, but GWS lost another player to Essendon.

Let the games begin!

3rd Rounder, only a 5th if he starts doing that motorbike celebration.

As long as we don't overpay, I can't see this being a bad deal for us. Top-25 pick and talent in one of the strongest drafts since the Hodge, Ball, Judd draft in 01. Wiry small forward with plenty of zip and tricks in his arsenal, and has shown glimpses of greatness. Like you said, during his 3 years in the league, he's had 2x covid years, and the first season he had shoulder surgery. Get him a big preseason and a consistent year of footy and there's no doubt hell improve a lot.

Pick 11 for Lobb? 29 before round 1. Likely to be a big risk from GWS. Lobb may only have 30-40 good games left.
