Reminds me (although not same trade) of a trade a few years ago in the NFL. The Texans wanted to clear cap space so traded their QB who was due $17m USD, to the Browns plus gave the Browns a second round draft pick to go with it. The QB Osweiler proved a dud but the draft pick was used on Nick Chubb ..one of the best running backs in last decade or so.

And just because some supporters don't want him, doesn't mean the club agrees. The fact that three journo's are reporting on it, one with very well known ties to Essendon, suggests otherwise.

But you won’t keep him because you guys don’t want him your trying to play a game of poker but it’s well known that you are happy to let him go.
Take it up with SOS and his infactuation with Shiel which dates back to his GWS days, then carried on to Carlton and has now carried on to the saints .

Dow doesn’t have jets like shiel

They don't have pick 13...They only receive this pick if we horrendously over pay Gresham, which activates pick 13.

So many people are struggling to understand what is being floated.

Saints have to decide whether band 3 compensation for Gresham is enough or Shiel for Gresham is preferred. If the later, then they depart with pick 13 for Shiel, which they only receive if we over pay JGresham.

It never should have been this hard to understand. Saints fans are literally NPC's.
