Afl wants Carlton, collingwood & Essendon to adopt new away jumpers

Here a little pic. would be better with better blue, couldnt find a logo. Would put a trim around it aswell (neck and sleeves), you get the idea.

Agree a dark blue logo on a white background with dark blue trim would look good. Who give a s**t abou the ranting of self proclaim king of everything AFL Eddie ‘The jumper is Sacrosanct’ McGuire. nb- I don’t recall the traditional Collingwood jumper having a magpie on the front, as worn on several occasions.

I could live with a clash jumper on those occasions we play away to Geelong and Melbourne. A dark blue logo on sky blue background a la Sturt or the old Prahran jumper might be worth looking at too. Not the heritage jumper please.

Although I think socks are as big an issue than jumpers - how Collingwood and Adelaide wore the same last week is beyond me.

I've seen that jumper and like it. Definitely the sky blue, could live with that. Not Silver, just looks cheap.

Definitely not orange. I don't see the issue with clubs like the Pies and Bombers making a big deal out of clash guernseys, they'll only be worn 2-3 games a year. For Carlton's, I'd definetly go for a white/silver with Blue logo.

Carlton wearing Prahan's old Jumper would be okay.

BUT LETS NOT DELUDE OURSELVES, IN POLITICS THERE IS A SAYING, IF THE PEOPLE DON'T LIKE WHAT YOUR DOING, DO IT OVER TIME AND THEY WILL JUST LUMPED IT.

Carlton Collingwood Richmond and Essendon are great clubs built on over 100 years of HISTORY.

without them the AFL would be sweet nothing.

WTF is that?
Our colours are our exactly that - ours.
AFL have dumped on us but we still have our heritage and pride.
The time will come when we will again have the respect we deserve.
Start stuffing around with the colours and where will it end.
Compromise means we will do it again and again until the day comes and we run out in orange at the AFL's want - nope, no way, shove it.
Sick of being crapped on over the last few years - lets get back to where we belong and stop this crap...
