No offence, but I find it rather disparaging that anyone would talk about the girls in that manner.

Do you honestly think that girls would not be watching footy games saying things like that about the guys.

I get shes disappointed in her performance but players do have off days and the team won, so enjoy it.

She never looks happy during games but off the field is quite the opposite.

What a win!!! Epic game. Amazing efforts across the whole team as usual. Harris redeemed herself in the last qtr. Our back 6 is the best in the comp.

Watching the women's team has reinvigorated me for the season to come. After the last couple of years just what I needed to get my enthusiasm back. So proud seeing our team fight it out like that.

I would be unhappy being continually scragged and cheap-shotted. Might have to swing her back a bit more.

Seriously, watch the song on all 5 wins, Tayla has been identical in all of them. Even in the match where she basically won the game herself.

People are reading wayyyyyy too much into this. She just isn't an exuberant singer.

Great stuff.

I'll admit that the stress got to me and I couldn't watch too much of that, but enormous effort.

A few articles during the week (and Bates') interview after highlighted how many contributors we have had. It is such a strength it is why we win games even if our marquee players have an off night, and it is why Tayla and Sabs can be so vital. The ectra attention they are attracting, frustrating as it may be for them, gives space to their team mates.

I read a few days/week ago that in the event of a Brisbane AFLW final they might look to have it at the Gabba early afternoon so people could still make it to Metricon. Anyone know if/when we can expect something definitive in time and location?
