I like Runnalls. I think she had a really strong back end of the season. Hope she stays.
I guess with us now being able to access the national pool, and with development pathways having been established/strengthened, it makes sense to cut fringe players for draft picks, no matter how late. There's much more scope for a late pick to earn selection in their first year in the women's comp than the men's, I suppose.
Still, I hate seeing Freo players wanting to go somewhere else.
