I'm glad people are excited about the prospect of him coming to North, but I'm concerned with how many are absolutely ruling out the Bombers.

I feel like there could be some very disappointed posters come the weekend lol

We've heard Rutten's gunna be sacked tommorrow every day since Sunday and its Friday tomorrow.

They don't have their shit together. Barham's in over his head, Sheedy is delusional, Campbell's a snake.

Their own retiring PLAYER in Hurley is potting them for instability.

Other coaches round the league are openly bagging them.

If he wants to go to * he better prepare himself for a barrage of marshmallows.

For the skeptics out there - If Rutten hasn't formally been sacked by tomorrow and Clarkos makes his decision public by tomorrow than how can he be announced head coach of * if tomorrow * still have a head coach?
Think Which One GIF
My Essendon acquaintances (they can never be called friends) are sending messages saying he's waiting for Rutten to be sacked so then he can accept the * job, and the coteries sounded him out 2 months ago, and he said he'd be interested if Rutten wasn't around.

God I hope they are wrong as they are insufferable at that club.

The same people sent me an sms of the scoreboard of the final we beat them in at half time... I sent back a picture of Drew Petrie after the siren.

Yep. There’s a lot of posters on here who probably need to start preparing themselves.

The interviews from today and the obvious fact that the ITK’s clearly have no idea shouldn’t be ignored.

Not the end of the world guys. But prepare yourself.
Lets put a slightly different perspective on this. After all whats gone down this week NMFC has been tight as a drum. The media knows nothing and all they are publishing is speculative.

The other mob up mooney ponds rd are a complete rabble.

Regardless of what happens this week things are on the up.

There's clearly a no compete clause in place. They paid him out last year.
Yep and the benefit of him not signing yet has been that he's been able to stay in contact with us and plan.

If he had've signed, he wouldn't have been able to do that planning with us without risking Hawthorn suing him for breach of that no compete clause. They might not have given a rats (Hawthorn) but why would you risk $1M, or a percentage of, if you're Clarko?

It just doesn't add up does it? I may be delusional but how can it not be us? He's said that he wants to coach next year and not sit it out.

Hmmm, so he said that he'd be interested in a head coaching role if the current head coach wasn't there? Did he really need to clear that up?

Rutten IS still around and Clarko’s decision comes tomorrow. Your acquaintances are having a lend.

This was so juicy

So why don't they just sack Rutten then????

Clarkson says Rutten still has a year to go on his contract and says its quite embarrassing being the centre of attention in a situation that is difficult for Rutten and his club.

Going on this, his decision tomorrow will be whether he chooses to coach North or not. Not if he is choosing Essendon.

Yep it would be received horribly by the wider AFL community for him to say that only to knife Rutten. Like mega-villain bad to do that to another active coach. Even the * players are apparently furious. I dare say plenty of them would have a huge problem playing under him if he did that to Truck.

I am curious about the following: why haven't Essendon sacked Rutten yet?

The position has become untenable anyway at this point, whether or not Clarko signs with them. So why has he not been sacked yet?

Do your * acquaintances know that Rutten is still the official coach of the * football club? Do they know that Clarksonss makes his decision public tomorrow on the same day that Rutten is legally still the coach of the * football club?
