this is at the core of the dems problem. apart from a few elected reps they no longer reflect the values of the people they once were the voice for.

They need to go back to being a party for Blue Collar workers

For now, Australia’s democracy has Peter Dutton as the main voice of opposition. America’s system allows for no such powerful voice.
