It's possible, but Collision and Rampage don't even crack many views anymore. The product as a whole is extremely cold.
I don't see why people care about ratings as compared to quality.

Lower ratings are meaningless - Tony is extraordinarily rich and committed and MAX are aching for product.

It's not like it's going to be axed. Its still nearly always top five on cable whenever it screens.

The quality of something and how popular it is isn't in any way connected. Love Island and KFC are both popular.
I mean that's fair enough, I still think the quality of the show was better a couple of years ago, there was more to sink your teeth into storyline wise, there's not much outside of maybe Swerve/Hurt Syndicate and Christian Cage that's doing it for me on AEW.

Fair points, Rampage and Collision don't feel all that must see, you'll occasionally have some good stuff, but you can skip both shows and not really miss anything 90% of the time.

Darby taking a few crazy bumps in his match vs Komander in the opener.

Kyle Fletcher with a massive win over Okada. But watching the match I couldn't help but notice, he's legit turned into Randy Orton. The hair cut, the gear, the arm tatts, even the 2nd rope DDT with the head shake thing.

Looks like the Top Flight Faction is imploding.

Mark Briscoe vs Daniel Garcia was a good main event.

Your points make sense.

Look, I was probably more into it a couple of years ago, but it is still really offering the version of wrestling that I enjoy.

You could write a dissertation wtf happened to Jamie Hayter upon her return.

For all the tribal bullshit you see online about the treatment of minorities and women, including just today, it surprises me that those who seek reasons to criticise never honed in on Hayter.

She is the most polarising evidence that TK doesn't really value the women on the roster as much as he should, and that for the women if you're out of sight, you're out of mind.

Hayter was one of the most over people on the roster when she got injured, she should've been treated as a star upon her return. Instead she was a nobody starting all over again from scratch despite being a former champion.

given the injuries she was returning from, you could understand why they were a bit tentative.

Never stopped them with Adam Cole (BayBay). And his star power in AEW was never anything like Hayters.

Maybe night 1, but even that was immediately overshadowed by Danielson.

Their strength is putting on wrestling matches that are full of high spots and look great, usually it’s great quality but more often than not it’s like a glorified house show because of the lack of decent story to go with it.

Their weakness is exactly that the ability to produce decent storylines consistently that are the main reason why people get sucked into watching wrestling.

Everyone knows it’s predetermined so you need the story to go with it to make it believable or make people forget that it’s not “real”

WWE sucked at that storyline part for a long time when the age old formular with Hogan etc got stale and they struck gold with the attitude era but then hit major lows and it’s only just recovering now because of the longer term story telling and more focus put on that side of things, sure some of the matches aren’t as captivating but the stories are more solid and like watching a movie you need a decent storyline or plot to go with it.

I’m not saying every single story they’ve done is bad it’s just not a strong point and clearly with people tuning out not in that’s got to be a concern.

MJFS heel run was as good as any , he was fantastic and a much watch, the face run though man than was rough and some of the worst stuff you will see from them. It kind of sums up AEW over the last few years when it comes to that side of things, couple of home runs but a lot of strike outs.

AEW has saved the wrestling industry and breathed new life into it, we got the return of Punk , given somewhere else for people to go and work, started the rise of Cody, created competition etc. My main concern is if people aren’t turning up to watch live how is this going to look in a few years time, start to lose more veterans, how many will leave for brighter lights at WWE , how many WWE talent at their end of days come across for the easy pay day to finish the career, it’s kind of the opposite of what AEW was and offered at the start?

How do you grow a new audience when the product your putting out isn’t aimed at people that are likely to tune into it being kids like many of us probably did in the attitude era or previous to that.

If your in your 20s and haven’t already watched wrestling there’s a extremely high chance your never going to want to so I just can’t see how their audience will grow live in person if they aren’t catering to allow it to grow?

Sounds like the Lucha Bro's are very disgruntled.
They're WWE guys now. Although they probably should just let Fenix out of the contract given some of the shit he's done for the promotion.

They'll be a good test case. Argument has been AEW is just spot monkeys that wouldn't work in WWE. Well Luchas, Fenix especially is an ultimate spot monkey so be interesting to see how they go. Unlikely they'll get near the top of the card like they did at times in AEW. Don't really blame them from wanting to get away from the Bucks though.

I'm having the worst week.

My back is the worst it's been in nearly a decade. My GP has let me down really badly, to the extent that I'm in the midst of a serious flare up and looking for a new GP. My Christmas plans were cancelled by my friends.

My new Grand Slam ticket was enough to tip me over the edge and make me cry like a little child.

It's such a downgrade, and the way they've re-mapped it screws over people who have paid a lot of money to end up in seats worse than people in the level below them.

I'm not going if this is my seat. I'm getting a refund, I'm cancelling the flights and hotel that I ensured were refundable, and I'll spend the week heartbroken that I was supposed to be catching up with 4 mates that I haven't seen forever at the Friday night show, which I think I'll just have to wear the cost of.

This isn't worth $3k + to me any more, and I'm ****ing shattered about it.

Mate, don't make a quick decision when you're feeling on edge. Give it a little bit of time - and if you're unhappy, make sure you tell them directly. There may be something they can do.

Sorry to hear that. I knew as soon as the changed of venue was announced there was going to be some disappointed people with the seat changes etc.

They haven’t announced any type of card or talent that are coming it would be hard to justify spending $100 on this without knowing who’s coming and what’s happening.

Hopefully you can get your money back or recover most of your costs.

Hopefully your health improves quickly to.

I've sent them a message, but I haven't heard back.

In my upset before I didn't even mention the biggest issue - because my back is prone to flare ups, and I obviously have to catch a plane the day before, I had booked accessible seating, though not full on wheelchair/ambulant seating, through their accessible ticketing line. Every piece of information I have at my disposal points to that not being factored into my reallocation. (I don't know for sure, but it's not looking good.)

And looking at what's available for purchase on the map, I don't know if there's anywhere to move me.
