My circle of people I follow of twitter popped straight away for it, as below, and I've seen them throw it out there as something that should happen for ages now. I suspect the reddit thread, the best place to grab people's written 'live reactions', would have been full of "they finally did it" too. it's neither here non there for me since I'm on Fite, but ending a match in during picture-in-picture is definitely something people have been throwing around as something AEW should do

Just finished. I really liked it tbh. Waaaay better than last weeks.
Punk’s GTS was fine. He just messed up the pickup. Could’ve been better but I enjoyed the segment nonetheless.

Great episode. Reckon PnP win the tag titles in NY off the Bucks for some reason after seeing the tag match. I also believe 2.0 and Garcia are being set up as a group for Bryan to come in at All Out and debut as a heel (not fantasy booking just what I see happening).
Also is it just me or is there a select group of negative nancy's who always try to find ways about how AEW sucks in this thread?

I initially thought a rubber match against FTR in possibly a street fight at NY then maybe they go on and challenge for the titles. I reckon it will be Lucha Bros who win though this week.

The Billy Gun thing was random, did not see it coming. Not sure if QT Marshall has X-Pac type heat now lol.
To your last point, be careful, you'll be accused of not allowing people to have a balanced discussion about AEW (but yes you are right there are the same 3-4 ppl who consistently shit on the product. AEW could have a 9.5/10 show and they will bitch and moan about the .5 only and ignore the rest.)

Agree 1000%, it is about time they did a finish like this. Makes it feel more real that anything is possible and a match can end at any time. Similar to how they had a couple of time limit draws in t e first few months of television. Have seen/heard plenty of people calling for it, just mindless idiots pretending it is a bad idea (as usual with the same 3-4 nimrods)
Trust me, I love the Lucha Bros like no one else. If either of them sign a long term extension they should both be world champions one day. Thing is I see them losing to further the Andrade-PAC storyline (personally would just prefer if he got Bandido/Flamita/Rush/ instead). I just think they'll want to do a big title change for a hometown hero in NY as it'll be a huge show and so for me it's either PnP or Eddie.
Garcia is genuinely more vanilla than my ice cream but I love 2.0 so much. And who would've thought two under the radar NXT releases would be the guys who get the first match with Sting on TNT in 20 years AND gets to have the first in ring altercation with CM Punk since he left wrestling. They'd be over the moon right now.
If QT is allowed to be who he is in Sammy's vlog than he'd be an MJF tier heel. Fuego got over as much as he did because QT was such a prick you wanted to see Fuego hit that tornado DDT.
The amount of bad faith actors in this thread shit me to tears. CM Punk's debut was the biggest moment in wrestling in 20 years and these idiots were still trying to find shit to rag on about over it.

It might be due to the Battle Royale coming up however, I have noticed a lot of female pairings now starting to come together.
Nyla Rose and Diamante tag teamed on elevation this week and looked really good together. Penelope Ford and the Bunny now seemingly a duo. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter plus the returning Anna Jay and Tai Conti

I popped big for the Gunn Club thing just because I've been trying to work out why Gunn Club has been on an insane winning streak on the Dark shows for over a year now and now I'm maybe getting an answer. Logically, I'm guessing it ends with a Billy Gunn retirement match, although I'm not quite sure how it'll work and yes, "we don't need to see that on Dynamite", but Billy seems to be a very respected guy in the back & Austin probably has a ton of credit with them for being so loud during the no crowd shows, they might be happy to roll with that in the mid card for a few weeks. the feature on the gunn club a few months ago was very sweet ( 20 minutes in)
they're due another version of the tag tournament, which should be a million times better than the last one, which occurred where the strength of the woman's division was at it's lowest point. they could do the winner gets to be the first holders of the belt gimmick. Either way, they're getting to be in the position where some stables can be formed and they can start doing tags and trios matches which is a good thing.

It’s funny if anything happens on WWE shows whether it’s bad booking , a botch, bad finish, bad gimmick there’s a group that are quick to slam it also. It goes both ways doesn’t it , you are in said group even though you openly say you don’t watch it?
I’ve said plenty negative stuff about WWE also. I enjoy Smackdown, I like Dynamite but get frustrated with some of the random stuff and completely ****ing hate Raw.
MJF’s promo was so good. The way he puts over his opponent while telling you how he’s going to beat the piss out of them is amazing.

Everyone seems to shit on WWE, even the ppl who only watch it and only post about it. What does that tell you when the diehards think what they are watching is no good?

This wasn’t the original article I saw which I can’t find but here is another.
Hints at it but doesn’t totally say it’s happening. Given they had the match and looked okay. Might still be good , fingers crossed as they are one of the best tags going around.
