Lachlan Jones is Port NGA1st Round Phantom Draft
First Phantom of the year now the season is finished and the draft order is locked in before trade week. Obviously free agency compo and deals that take place during the trade period will change the 1st round out look immensely. Nevertheless if the draft was tomorrow, heres how i think the 1st round would look.
Pick 1 Adelaide Crows - Logan Mcdonald - Key Forward - Perth Demons
Pick 2 Western Bulldogs (Matched bid) - Jamarra Ugle-Hagan - Key Forward - Oakleigh Chargers
Pick 3 North Melbourne - Elijah Hollands - Midfielder/Forward - Murray Bushrangers
Pick 4 Sydney Swans - Riley Thilthorpe - Ruck/Forward - West Adelaide
Pick 5 Sydney Swans (Matched Bid) - Braeden Campbell - Midfielder - Swans Academy
Pick 6 Hawthorn - Denver Grainger-barras - Key Defender - Swan Districts
Pick 7 Gold Coast Suns - Will Phillips - Midfielder - Oakleigh Chargers
Pick 8 Essendon - Zach Reid - Tall Utility - Gippsland Power
Pick 9 Carlton - Oliver Henry - Medium Forward - Geelong Falcons
Pick 10 Adelaide Crows - Tanner Bruhn - Midfielder - Geelong Falcons
Pick 11 North Melbourne - Nikolas Cox - Tall Utility - Northern Knights
Pick 12 Fremantle - Archie Perkins - Forward/Midfielder - Sandringham Dragons
Pick 13 Adelaide Crows (Matched Bid) - Lachlan Jones - General Defender - Woodville WT
Pick 14 Geelong - Heath Chapman - Defender - West Perth
Pick 15 Geelong - Jack Carroll - Midfielder - East Fremantle
Pick 16 St Kilda - Finlay Macrae - Midfielder - Oakleigh Chargers
Pick 17 Collingwood - Caleb Poulter - Utility - Woodville WT
Pick 18 Collingwood (Matched Bid) - Reef McInnes - Utility - Oakleigh Charges
Pick 19 Brisbane Lions - Nathan O'driscoll - Midfielder - Perth Demons
Pick 20 Brisbane Lions - Eddie Ford - Forward/Midfielder - Western Jets
Pick 21 Geelong - Brayden Cook - Medium Forward - South Adelaide
Pick 22 Richmond - Kaine Baldwin - Key Forward - Glenelg

With Saints seemingly getting Crouch, I think you need a great ball user in the middle of the ground instead of another big body.
I have to admit, I don't know much about Charlie Lazzaro. I'll do some research before I come back with questions on him.November Rankings

swans have been linked with DGB from a long way out. With you having the Swans taking Riley Thilthorpe do you think with them trading Aliir Aliirout today that might bring Denver Grainger-Barras into their thinking?PLAYERCARDSTART21Aliir Aliir

I have the swans taking Thilthorpe because of where I have him in my rankings / the swans long term needs. It’s highly likely the crows are taking him at 1, if that happens it could flip the whole order. If Mcdonald and DGB are both available at 3 then Sydney have an interesting choice to make. With you having the Swans taking Riley Thilthorpe do you think with them trading Aliir Aliirout today that might bring Denver Grainger-Barras into their thinking?PLAYERCARDSTART21Aliir Aliir

It’ll be a lot easier to answer this question at 7:30pm tonight when we find out who actually has picks in that range. If essendon dont get dunkley they could bid early and see how highly the pies rate him, otherwise I’d expect north and geelong to also bid at their picks in the 10-15 range. If he’s still on the board at 18/19 I’d think the lions would have a crack aswell to try and add some extra size to their midfield long term.Who would bid on reef mcinnes now that he tested well in the athletic testing?

Package them up to a team that needs points a find a pick 48-55. Draft won’t go past 60 picks.Best-case scenario for WC with three picks after 60?
Knightmare says the opposite.Package them up to a team that needs points a find a pick 48-55. Draft won’t go past 60 picks.
You can take either of our word at it, but it won’t go past 60 picks. Ear mark this comment at 10:30pm December 8thKnightmare says the opposite.
I'd prefer a Thunderdome scenario. You can take either of our word at it
Some clubs will be passing in the 3rd round. No way clubs will be taking 4th round picks. Clubs will either take on a few rookies or leave a few spots open for kids to come and train to earn the last spot on their list.I'd prefer a Thunderdome scenario.
How many selections are mandated? Some clubs will be passing in the 3rd round. No way clubs will be taking 4th round picks. Clubs will either take on a few rookies or leave a few spots open for kids to come and train to earn the last spot on their list.
Usually clubs have to take 3 selection at the national draft. But this year they might change it to 2/ take away the mandate all together. How many selections are mandated?
WC might just say "catch me ousside, how bout dat?"Usually clubs have to take 3 selection at the national draft. But this year they might change it to 2/ take away the mandate all together.
Report just came out saying the mandate will be 1 pick minimum per clubWC might just say "catch me ousside, how bout dat?"
