I think if he decided to go to St Kilda pick 7 or 8 would get the deal done. Especially considering he can walk next year and would likely get WC an end of first round.

A lot of talk though that St Kilda are already in talks with GC about turning 7 & 8 into 2 and a player or pick. If that happens than it would be interesting to see what the trade would be as we wouldn't be giving up pick 2.

Massive overs according to Hawthorn fans.

Why don't you just offer us your third rounder plus Mav Weller?

Hogan + pick 27 for Gaff, Darling, Karpany and 2018 first rounder

Eagles get pick 27 to use on Fasolo.

That fair? You guys don't lose any of your key defenders or young mids(not that you have many of them anyway) and get a ten year forward.

Yucky.

Can't see Eagles getting a better deal than pick 8, especially from Hawthorn.

Gaff was pick 4 and at that pick you hope for a good player with AA qualities. But there are no guarantees with any pick.

By trading for Gaff now tou know what you will get, an AA class winger. No risk orher than injury risk.

So pick 8 is good but the Eagles will ask for a bit extra. How about the Saints 2018 3rd rounder.? If needed the Eagles will send back their 2018 4th.

Well thats just a very minor pick swap. Potentially could happen to please either party.

But pick 8 sounds pretty good.

"Overs" meaning the club drafting Gaff needs to give a good deal that West Coast cant refuse .

Restricted Free agent next season ...

Unless the AFL get rid of RFA and simply have FA which is likely to happen just not sure when.

I cant see any club paying massive overs for Gaff. Pick 8 plus some later pick exchanges in the Eagles favor is about right. If the Eagles push for more no deal either this year or next and AFL mediation comes into play....not that has ever happened.
