Except that the people don't actually decide MOTY, you fool.
Well, I voted, but I only just realised that it was only in order to be in running for a prize.
Still the people of the committee have spoken and made the correct decision.

Ummm Walker's mark was not only the best this year, but possibly one of the best ever.
Krakouer's mark was not in the top 100 I have seen.

All footy awards are. Couldn't give a rats about who makes the All Australian and Brownlow and all that other bullshit as well.
I think the players themselves might appreciate a personal accomplishment but outside it doesn't really matter at all.

Correct. They showed it on ESPN SportsCentre.
That's right because it wasn't a public vote. The judges probably took into account that it was a pack mark that he took in his hands.

Walker's is up here with one of the best i've seen in my life, he was massively robbed. Naitanui's was better than Krakouer's as well

I was living in the US for a little over 5 months this year. I vividly remember Walkers mark being shown on ESPN multiple times during one day. In fact thats how i found out about his mark. Jumped on youtube to check it out again, and it already had atleast 1 million views in less than a day. Created a bit of a buzz over there when it was shown (in factalot of them thought it was rugby lol, damn Americans).
I honestly can't remember Krakouer marks being shown at all though. Walkers definitely was though.
You would think that it's the only logical conclusion though, that it was a public vote. Collingwood pleb-factor voting for their man, not the best mark.
