Everyone bags him but I bet there's a heap of callers out there spewing that he nailed both in the one season.

Andrew Maher is good, he was excellent on "The Insiders" on SEN and he was alright on "The Fifth Quarter." He knows footy.

And he also kicked a hundred goals in a season in the Ammos, so he can play a bit. I have a feeling he might be a bit too intelligent for the alot of the Bigfooty crowd though.

I agree with all of that and add that you can see his development as a braodcaster and anchorman on the morning glory. He is now quite acomplished. Better yet, he remains self effacing and understands that his role as a sports reporter is to draw out sportsman. So far he has resisted the urge to consider himself to be the show instead of the presenter of the show.

I think Andrew Maher was involved in creating the footy show. He knows his stuff. Just because he didnt play footy doesent mean he doesent know more about the game than S.O.S and Walls.

Tim Gossage is 100 fold the ********er that Maher is. Actually Maher isnt much of a ********er just a nerdy type of guy whereas Gossage is just a fukwit

Excellent on SEN's The Insiders and Retrospective when they were on, but can get a little lost in the toilet humour on the Morning Glory.

Was involved on Sports AFL (The forgotten first attempt at an AFL TV Channel) and did a great job. Also has been a producer on Ten's coverage before having an on camera role.

He may look like Millhouse, but has a genuine passion for the game.

Does this guy annoy the hell out of anyone else but me? Here he is sum guy who has neva played a game in his life, claims to be an expert about everything in football. He continues to whine and point the finger on all his TV and radio shows and it annoys thell outa me. Also he will not become a member of Carlton again until they 'remove' a particular player. You Victorian Toolbags don't like Tim because he actually knows something about the West Australian sides and he is able to articulate this knowlege.

It just goes straight over your heads when he calls a name other than, Pavlich or Cousins.

yeah he is a bit in love with himself - needs to learn some humility, i reckon the other commentators all chipped in on a 1-way ticket to Ireland (the idiot probably really believed that it was a 'speacial assignment')
