Andrew Walker - Will he be delisted??

You could easily say the same thing about McDougall. The kid is down on confidence and playing in a crap team with poor leadership. Part of the problem is the senior players share the ball amongst themselves far too much and Walker is often ignored despite making good position. His disposal needs improvement but at training it's very good so I think it has more to do with a lack confidence and/or poise and that will improve in time.
Hence why he has played 3 games this year and been dropped twice. If you have the talent but not the attitude, you shouldn't be playing AFL. Hopefully Doogs can fix this because he has the potential to be a gun. Injuries have been his main downfall this year.

As for Walker, he has seriously done SFA since THAT debut which was fair impressive. Don't know if he has struggled with injury because I have seen him play a fair few games, struggles to find the ball maybe not hard enough at it?

signed a 2 year deal duringt this year with livingston another good pick u had good player for number 4 pick
Livingston is seriosuly the biggest dud I have ever seen, I saw him single handidly lose a game for the Bullants in the VFL when Ponsiadly kicked 4 on him in about 4 minutes absolute dud (yes I know we have Quinten but for a No.4 pick has to be one of the worse picks of recent time).

Funniest thing of all is that they got #4 from the Saints for Hamill.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Oh Carlton whata rabble. :)

He is 19.
Give him time and he will develop into a champion. Not all Top 4 draft picks are tailor made players - Exhibit A - Luke Hodge.
He needs a few more years to add size and gain experience then we will see the no2 draft pick in him.

Oh well, both Hamill's and Livingston's output have been comparible this season.... and you paid Hamill how much?

He has had two years and has only shown he has no talent, is weak as a little girl and is more interested in having a bong with Fev then he is in playing footy.

He is by far the worst 2nd pick in AFL history, he has been left to tag, and it turns out he sucks at that too. Do Carlton need a orange peeler, if not then i cant see what use he has.

Its best he is delisted now before he causes further embarassment to the Carlton fans. His mediocrity is a blight on the game, he is not good at anything, apparantly he cant even warm up the bench any good either.

Should this grade A dud be delisted, or should Carlton embarass themselves further and keep him on there list?

Hey mate just worry about your side because they can't kick goals.

SORRY YOU HAVE LYNCH

i cant believe anyone actually gave this thread any proper responses...
an obvious attempt to spark an argument...but a pathetic one. once again we come across someone who hardly sees any carlton games, but occasionally reads the stats and figures he is the bees knees. walker is exactly like kouta, so when kouta goes you will see walker step up into his position and dominate. his first game was the only game ever that he was given a licence to do what he wants. every other game he has been used as a tagger, mostly to gain some valuable knowledge from some of the AFL's elite....
please, if you are going to try an argument find out the facts first...

One thing i don't like is when a St Kilda Supporter has a go at carlton.

Compare the two clubs there is no comparison.

Head to Head

Carlton 158
St Kilda 41

:D

he will be a good player but will need time to develop and will be as good as cooney has the pace skills and good marking will be a star

time to develop? please

his had enough time already, apart from the first match, he's showed nothing

these excuses about more time is crap, cooney is a lot better, sure he has a bigger frame, but kane tenace didn't and he is playing extremely well

too many excuses, too few performances

What is he, all of 18. Did a few terrific run-with jobs this year. Still quite inconsistent, but certainly has talent. Irrespective of whether you're right or wrong in the long run (good old hindsight) judging a kid at that age is a good way of potentially getting you're foot stuck well and truly in your mouth.

FACTS
even though was regarded as "Medium, inside midfielder who is athletic and evasive. Has a strong aerobic capacity to run and carry the ball forward. Strong overhead. AIS-AFL Academy in 2003. Recorded the best 3km time trial, and was in the top 10% for shuttle run, 5 metre sprint and running vertical jump (right) at the 2003 National Draft camp. From Echuca FC. Year 11 student at St Josephs College, Echuca." handed a lesson to wce midfielders on debut at the tender age of 17 handed the same lessons to akermanis and mcleod in 2005, but on a different level.
i'm not disappointed with walks seeing he supplies my tickets to the blues matches, but sporny on the other hand
Not every player is a judd or a deledio.

Why did it take until this year for McMahon to turn it around?
Good get! A defender for pick ten in the draft and Walker isn't Tim Walsh or Power. He will be a gun and a better player than Farren Ray.

Walker has played every position possible for him and he has failed miserable in all of them. He has the speed of Primus, the strength of Andrew Krakour, the courage of Ryan Houlihan and the laziness of Ashley Sampi.

He is the ultimate hack. Ive never seen someone so certain to be a dud in my life. He has nothing going for him at all. He is dumb as hell, a soft receiver who cant kick the ball, and has shown alot less then the likes of David Clarke, atleast they play well at VFL level.

Lets be honest, if he wasnt pick 2, he wud be playing in the VFL reserves and im sure failing there too. This kid just has nothing at all. Better too send him away while he is atleast worth a 4th round pick, otherwise Carlton are gonna look very stupid. Fans wont be pleased seeing 2nd pick players running around in the VFL reserves. Walker has to be delisted too maintain atleast some credibility and respect towards Carlton.

Walker would be in your best 22.

Mark this down people, this is the time when cypher finally realised Walker is a dud and agreed with me.

Gee you’re still a little rattled. Thought you would have calmed down by now. Discussion of the Weagles forward line, the HUN Poll, Wallsy’s article, last Friday’s umpiring controversy, etc etc has really taken it’s toll. Why is my Weagles cohort so so precious? :)

Talk about stating the obvious cypher, we know that Walker would give his life too be as qtr as talented as those blokes, he knows he just isnt good enough. He is taking your club for a ride, sucking as much money out of you as possible. When will Carlton finally realise that.

right here and now, i am willing to make a bet with u, that he will be inferior to farren ray

by the end of next year, farren ray will be an up and coming star in the same mould as gilbee or mcmahon,

ahhhh the joys of stupid supporters who doubt how good the pups really are
