They can argue whatever whenever during, they intended with first statement to go for careless probably easier to argue down as severe to high probably brings in the "but glass jaw concussion" diagnosis things to argue against.

There wasn’t an intent to concuss the other player but a series of events which conspired in the outcome.
Says more about Collingwoods view on the value of an individual player that they didn’t do a HIA until after the game on a player known for multiple knocks and susceptible to concussion.

Player welfare obviously not a priority at the club. Baffling to see the players defend it.

Buckley is right. It wasn't a malicious act trying to hurt a player. It was the usual push and shove with accidental high contact. That Murphy suffered a concussion was really unlucky for both.
