Perhaps the Students would have had a future ;) -University 1909-1914.

Yeah Ive heard things like that before regarding College Football, but where do the crowds come from?

Ex students etc.

Yeah, mostly ex-students and obviously a lot of the current students go as well. The alumni association is enormous, and a lot of people donate to the football team (you have to in order to get tickets!)

You're not kidding. The vast majority of white high schoolers go to college - in fact there's a stigma associated with not going. Not nearly as many blacks go but whites are still by far the majority, so a pretty large majority of people go on to college. Which means you get all sorts of nuffnuffs here.... I'd know!

Pretty much. Got me stuffed how they got into uni, it doesn't seem like some of them learned anything in year 12. Having said that year 12 is pretty much a write-off as far as I can tell - most people get accepted to uni a a year or so in advance. I don't understand it at all.

It must be a culture thing

I've got the spring racing carnival to keep me going.

Can the mighty Diva win 3 in a row?
Is Plastered all she's cracked up to be?
A 3 yo filly called Rewaaya has sprung out of nowhere to potentially become this year's Alinghi

It's the Turnbull this Saturday, a race won last time year by Elvstroem.

I had already backed Elvstroem to win the Caulfield Cup before he won the Turnbull last year. I picked up a handy $2400 :)

Looking forward to cricket, EPL, A-League, basketball, aussie open, davis cup and MLB season. Plenty of sports still up to watch!
