When was the last time the umpire called play on, player with the ball is wrapped up in a tackle, doesn’t dispose of the ball and the umpire throws the ball up instead of calls holding the ball? Why do players get so much leeway for not hearing the umpire? Weird.

I find it amazing how our former players have ended up at WC (SPS), St Kilda (Stocker), * (Setterfield) and Norf (Fisher). I can’t imagine a player ever wanting to leave Carlton in the future.

For those 4 and Dow they made a logical decision at the benefit of their financial security and opportunity for getting senior games. In terms of Setterfield hopefully we at least got a shrink to assess him before we signed off on the trade as choosing to go to * does indicate a sign of mental reduced capacity.

Not sure, but he’s definitely regressed… could be growth, his ACL, but if it just takes Lloyd showing him how to best toss up some grass and they get 10% improvement… why not?
